This light works great and seems to be of good quality. The output is decent and is perfect as a primary light for 5 - 10 gallon tanks or as accent/supplement for larger tanks. I bought it to use as a color addition and night/low intensity light for my 29 gallon tank and it works great for this.

WOW what a great light! It’s amazingly bright and has a variety of possible colors. So easy as it suction cups into the aquarium. I actually used it to suction cup on the bottom of my aquarium lid instead of putting in the aquarium itself. I’m buying more for my aquarium friends. This one is definitely a terrific buy!!

Works great. I attached it to the underside of the tank in place of the original LED light. Remote works great & I like the color options.

So the lighting is good. There is a pretty variety of colors, the brightness is adjustable and can get pretty dim, great for critter comfort and nighttime use. The light fits on the lid of my 3 gallon halfmoon.The remote works and is required. However, the modes flash, strobe, and smooth are all strobe lights. The mode fade is more like a rapid paced smooth. So if you're wanting self-alternating colors, try a different light.

I am really happy with the light. The remotes a so-so quality but it works. It is a very bright for my 30-gallon octagon tank. I bought one to see what I thought. Didn't have to buy a second one as I thought I might have to do. Happy with the brightness

I bought this to replace the stock light that broke in my fish tank, and it’s been a great upgrade! The colors are vibrant, and the remote makes it easy to customize the look. It stays securely in place and lights up the whole tank beautifully. My fish seem to enjoy it too. Definitely worth it!

Works amazing in aquariums!

I bought a 15" light for my 36-gallon tall freshwater tank and mounted it just under the surface of the water, on the backside of the tank, to shine down into the aquarium. This has been a great light to supplement my LED hood light but I wouldn't want it as my only tank light. The white color isn't very bright and doesn't provide enough light for daytime settings by itself. Perhaps it would be OK if you had two of them.I do like the extra white light that this provides during the day and especially like the dark blue for nighttime light. My hood light has blue LEDs but they require throwing a physical switch so I have my hood light on a timer and leave this LED strip on all the time. When the hood light goes out, I leave the tank on the dimmer white light of this fixture for a short period and then manually switch it to blue for the overnight.The dimmer feature is great and allows me to dim the nightlight down before I go to bed to give the fish some darker tank time. The other colors are fun to play with but I think the color-changing and strobe features are a bit much for the fish to handle so they don't get used.My only complaint with this light is the remote control. It is cheaply made and the facing is peeling away from the plastic housing after only a week of occasional use (see pic). It also won't work if you're more than four feet away from the sensor. Make sure you put the sensor (attached to the power cord) somewhere outside of your aquarium enclosure so that the IR signal can communicate from the remote to the sensor. If it's buried inside your aquarium cabinet, you will have to open the cabinet to control the light.Overall, worth the price but I won't be surprised if this remote quits working before long. If it does, I will update this review
