Great wood. Been using it for knife handles without issue. It is not stabilized but is not advertised as such, just wanted to state that in case anyone looking for wood for scales assumed based on this review. Overall, I'll be buying from them again.

The 4 pieces I ordered arrived perfectly straight which allowed me to glue them up into a 4" x 12".They are true 2" (not 1.5").This allowed me to create a floating “Peliship” shelf based on David Hsu’s design (with a slight difference).100% walnut, stained to match my bed it's big enough to hold a cup of tea and a cell phone. Nice lumber and have already ordered from this seller again. Reason for 4 stars and not 5 is product was a hair under 2" x 2". However, this was not an issue for me and the project I was working on.

I used these for table legs on a side table I built they looked great. They needed a few passes on my jointer before using them they are not completely square but I expected that.

Buying hardwood on Amazon is a complete gamble when it comes to accurate cuts and square dimensions, so when I received this walnut with parallel and true square angles I was pleasantly surprised. The grain was pleasing as well with no knots. I would trust this seller again for future projects.
