Perfect for sifting
Great value and light weight. It was easy to use and worked well. Very durable and made closing more fun. We used it for dump buckets which aren't always fun. Fun

Love this pan!!!
I have a lot of pans as most of us do. Garrett, from the super sluice to the gold traps, Minelab , XP pans and betea pan. Even have a couple SE 14" and 8" but this 10" pan is my goto for small cleanups. Up to a cup or two. Love the wide bottom and the angle of the wall. The black color has made it so much easier to see the colors. We have mostly flour gold around here. Like having the surface area of a 15" pan without the weight. Did I say I love this pan.

Sturdy. Fit for 5 gallon bucket isn’t perfect.
Nice thick plastic. Sturdy. I got it to sift debris out of my garden soil using a 5 gallon bucket, which the description said it fit. Well, it fits in there, but not really. It doesn’t rest in there flush so it’s wobbly when you dump dirt (or anything) into it. It’s nice quality but I had to take one star away because it doesn’t fit flush in the bucket like it said it would.

The best for cleaning cat litter
I've been using the sifter-type cat boxes for years, using one set and carrying it around to all the litter boxes (anywhere from 12-15) cleaned 1-2 times a day. The method works really well, but handling the sifter set can be clunky since they're big and rectangular. I decided to use this Stansport sifter and two small TubTrugs and it's a fantastic system. The sifter fits perfectly on the bucket and it works like magic with different litters, from sandy clay grains to corn/wheat granules. Use one bucket to carry the waste, and the other bucket to sift into. It's also helpful to bring a spatula along to scrape any clumps off. I also now use this setup for my cat sitting clients because it's fast and then can spend more time playing or cuddling their cats than cleaning up.

everything you need, nothing you dont
What can i say? its a solid pan that holds up well to basically all you can throw at it. i used and abused mine up in alaska, colorado, and even back here in wisconsin for more than just gold panning (flip it upside down and the bottom is a good small camp table/workspace, the inside can hold stuff or be used in clay refining to evaporate the water, etc) and its still going strong!

Decent but not thrilled
A bit disappointed. On my part I did not read that this pan only has one size of riffles. That is on me. The disappointment was in the ridiculous sticker label stuck to the pan. Not a function issue but definitely not fun to spend oodles of time getting off. The density is what you pay for as far as the actual pan. It isn’t heavy duty but more like a lightweight plastic plate.
