Great Sound, But A Couple OF Things To Consider Before You Buy
Even with a hearing aid, I finally got to the point where additional help was needed. I finally settled on this Artiste headset. Pros. It appears to be well made. Comes with 2 pre-installed rechargeable batteries, and tap volume controls and an on/off button in the headset itself. There is also an auxiliary 3.5MM jack. The ear pieces are well padded and tight fitting, but don’t expect perfect external sound blocking. If you want that go for Studio quality headsets. Set up was easy. Ear piece fit adjustment to the head and ears was also easy as well. Headset weight doesn’t appear to be a problem, but that’s personal as well. Volume level is excellent. like beauty, sound reproduction and quality is personal. For my taste, it is excellent with a fine stereo effect. Accessories include just about anything you need for different type connections. I used my TV Optical jack and I have beautiful sound. Specs say it’ll work at least 100 ft away. I tried it at least 60 ft away with no loss of sound quality. Battery charging is simple. Just fit the headset on top of the charging dock being sure it makes proper contact with the contact points. Do not force it down. The charging dock/RF transmitter has a power on light and a charging indicator light that goes out when the charge is completed. There is also what appears to be a ”Standby” light that comes on when you remove the headset. As this is a day 1 review, I can’t comment at this time on battery life between charges. Maybe that’ll come later.Cons. Probably the most important to consider is the fit. By necessity it is tight and quite possibly could become very uncomfortable after several hours. In addition, I noted that due to the heat caused by the padding you do start to get a little sweaty around the ears. For those of you with very large ears (my own are pretty standard) this headset may not be for you. If either of these are a concern, it might be preferable to go with “ear buds”.

Very Nice Wireless Headphones
At $99 these are a little more expensive then many others on Amazon but I think they are worth the extra money. And I should know, these are my 4th wireless headphones. My review is based on use with my TV but these headphones have additional uses.PROSThey fit around-the-ear and not on the ear. As such they are more comfortable and they cut down on room noise. The ear opening is large which helps me because I have tried some around-the-ear headphones that are too small for my large ears. They have a snug fit which helps them stay in place when you move your head around. If you walk around the house doing chores (as I do) you will appreciate the fact that they don’t slide off of your head when you bend over. The adjustment feature of the earpieces is METAL, not plastic. I will repeat, METAL. This is a great advantage. I just threw away my 3-year-old headphones, that I loved, because one of the plastic sliders broke. I was unable to repair it.The headphones connect via audio inputs 4 different ways. The normal red and white RCA cable from your TV. A digital optical audio cable from your TV. A digital coaxial cable (looks like an RCA cable but it’s not) from your TV, and lastly a 3.5 mm input that allows you to use to use the headphones as a normal wired headphone with your cellphone or PC/tablet. The power switch can be off in this wired mode. All cables are included, even the digital optical cable, and the digital coaxial cable. I didn’t even know that my TV had an optical audio output. It did and I am currently using it for these headphones.Setup is extremely easy. No channels to choose. No fine-tuning adjustment knob. Just plug in an audio cable and turn it on. Naturally you may have to activate the audio output on your TV and also set it to constant volume. Take a look at your TV manual to assist.Audio quality is excellent. Coverage all over my 1850 square foot single floor home is excellent. Battery life seems very good. I have only found it necessary to charge over-night. The power button and volume up and down buttons are easy to find while wearing the headphones. And lastly, no fiddling around required to put the headphones on the charger base. Just drop it on. It is self-centering and reversible. Believe me when I say that some headphones are difficult to align in the charger base.CONSSome people might find the headphones too snug.SUMMARYPlease give these headphones a try. I think you will be very happy that you did.

Fine sound quality, comfortable
I have tested this headphone setup (referred here as '2.4') against their earlier product, "Wireless Headphones for TV with Charging Dock,Over The Ear Stereo Headset with RF Transmitter,Adjustable,Lightweight,Cordless Design for Gaming PC, Rechargeable 25 Hour Battery TV Headphone Wireless", referred here as 'RF'.This headphone uses 2.4 ghz instead of RF, but seems to have about the same extended range, much better than the more limiting Bluetooth. Comparing the sound quality, this headphone to my ears has a better sonic balance of frequencies, whereas the RF set seems to emphasize the higher frequencies (better for spoken than music).I would agree with an earlier review that the recessed button placement for power and volume adjustment is more difficult to find by feel than with the more obvious buttons on the side of the earpiece of the RF set. Both this 2.4 and the RF headsets are comfortable to wear. The 2.4 has an extra band on top which I thought would be annoying from the look, but feels just fine. The two sets have different shapes, so it may depend on the shape of your ears, which could also affect how much sound bleeds out for others to hear. This was my first time to try the optical connection and it worked fine. This feature is not on the RF set. I did notice that the comparative volume of the optical was substantially lower than the standard RCA audio output, but one can just turn up the volume on the headphones. I don't have a way of testing the coaxial input. The two have a different charging device. Some have noted to be sure the connection is made with the RF set. The balancing device for charging the 2.4 is more assured and does take less physical space.Overall, both the 2.4 and RF headphones appear to be quality and the company seems to want to make sure they meet your needs.
