Bought this wallet in May of '21 to replace a similar, lower quality one I had for a year or so. LOVE IT! It lasted for 3.5 years before I finally dropped it and the plastic latch broke. But, that was probably the gazillionth time I had dropped it over those 3.5 years. I'm extremely active, travel for work and I am generally hard on stuff; my wallet got put through the paces frequently. So, for it to have lasted so long, is truly impressive. Impressive enough that I purchased two more to replace it.I have been intending for the last year or so to buy a spare for when my previous one bit the dust. But, they were always out with no back order. Needless to say, I was really happy to see them available again when this one broke. I bought a second in the event they stop making these. Yes, I like it that much! So, hopefully these two will have me covered in the wallet department for the next 7 years.As others have said, you have to fold your bills, which is my only gripe. But, that's an acceptable tradeoff for me. I don't usually carry more than 4-8 bills anyway, and I can always close it. I carry 4-5 cards, (debit, CC or two, gas card, Sam's card). I also keep my DL and all of my insurance cards under the CC's under the strap. In the back part under the money clip, I keep my fishing license, other import license, and my National Park card along with the bills. Couldn't be happier.

I purchased this to replace a Flipside hard shell wallet I had. The Flipside was a good wallet but couldn’t hold allot of cash and did not have a good clip to hold bills in place.The Duramont definitely holds allot. But it is much bigger then the Flipside. It’s about the same size as a large leather wallet.It seem well made a sturdy. Very slick looking There are magnets that keep the interior part from swinging back and forth. As advertised, holds 10 credit cards or other similar cards. And definitely holds a good amount of bills. The metal money clip is much better then the plastic one in the Flipside.My only grip is, they should have added a provision on either of the inside of the lids for a single card. So you can put your ID or drivers license in. Since that is something you rarely remove. Instead the only place to put your license is with all the other cards.I want to add they have awesome customer service!!

I bought this wallet because I work in the Texas heat and needed something to keep my cash and cards dry from sweat and water. That part of the wallet is fantastic and the functionality of holding cards and cash is super. The money clip on the inside of the wallet is great as most don’t have that and the elastic band holds cards in place and keeps them from falling out. The problem is the closure clip doesn’t last. The first one I had lasted about 10 months and broke. I ordered another wallet and contacted the company. They did refund the price of the second wallet purchase which was great but it broke after 3 months again. I decided not to buy another one til they fix the issue with the closure clip. I may try and modify my own with a piece of metal on the closure when I get time. Til then I am looking for a different wallet. This would be a 5 star wallet with a different closure mechanism

I’ve been looking for something exactly like this forever. It seems everyone and their mother has an idea for the best way to store money. Including me and Duramont I guess.It’s compact fits easily in my pocket without sacrificing space for both cards and cash, and takes into consideration something which a lot of RFID wallets don’t consider, east of accessing cash. The vertical flip and position of the clip on this thing makes it super easy to count, navigate, withdraw, and insert cash. For a antiques dealer like me this super important! No more stuffing wads of cash in my pocket to get crumpled up. One thing I’d ask for is a second product like this without the RFID card holder, one that’s exclusively for transporting and using wads of cash. As soon as they do I hope they email me or something cause I’d really like that. Hint. Hint.

Absolute trash!!!!! Lasted me three whole weeks, didn’t put anything in it but the slotted number of cards in it. Clasp broke. Piece of garbage.

I gave this as a gift to my husband. It was much too thick and bulky to be carried comfortably in his pocket, so I returned it for him. I'd estimate it is 3/4 - 1 inch thick. (He was looking for a slim, non-leather card wallet.) Also, to find the card you want, you have to take ALL the cards out and look through them - which also means you risk dropping and losing cards. :(However, if you are looking for something very sturdy, handsome, and that fits a lot of cards, you may really like this wallet/case. We just found that the idea of the case is better than the real-life function of it.

Duramont aluminum wallet is the best wallet I had purchased. You could fit 12 to 14 credit cards. You could also fit some half folded bills on the money clip side. The lids close tightly and securely. The only downside to aluminum wallets is that you have to fold your bills in half in order to fit them inside. The other downside to this wallet is that it will snap like a snapping turtle. So you have to watch out for your hand and fingers when you close the lids. I have been looking for rectangular aluminum wallets where you could fit full size U.S. bills in them without having to fold them in half. But I haven't found any inventor making them to sell. Some one should make rectangular wallets to fit full size U.S. bills, because I and lots of customers would want to buy them.
