Q: Is it required to oil these? I don’t want to have to oil my filter

No, you do not need to oil this filter. This is a direct replacement for the oem filter. I put a filter sock over mine as well and I would also recommend putting a little grease on the inside edge where it sits on the intake, helps ensure dirt stays out.

Q: does this fit a RZR 1000?

Not sure about the RZR. This fits my Can Am 2018 X3

Q: Will this fit on 22 canam X3 dsx rr?

Yes it will, and these are great filters. We use Donaldson filters in Caterpillar equipment that are in very heavy dust all day everyday.
