Tabakh Coconut Scraper Peeler/Shredder with Vacuum Base, Stainless Steel

This thing is awesome! I take the scraper part out and put it in my drill and can shred a coconut in a couple of minutes. My daughter prefers to use the device as pictured and she scraped 3 coconuts in 10-20 minutes! Which astounds me! I think the trick is to not push too hard. I love the seal that makes it sticks to the counter. Beautiful and functional! A must have if you live somewhere with coconuts laying around!

The suction base failed to hold even once . With this the whole thing moves around making it totally useless. You can't hold down even with anything else ( I tried a clamp!) as there is no space to hold on to. Worthless piece. And to add insult, you can't easily return either. Amazon washes its hands off from return. You are asked to "coordinate with the seller". who is in Chicago and will ask you pay shipping!

🌴 I'm not gonna lie, So... I took off the handle and attached my cordless drill to it. Had to run it very slowly but it works great! A little bit scary, but I'm lazy... 😉

Ok so today I finally got around to using this scary bad boy.. yes it works grated my coconut fairly well. Left a little white on the inside of coconut because if you go to close you pollute your shred with the shell. That being said it has flaws.... 1.) it’s shaft and blade end is to short Making it difficult to catch shreds on a cutting mat. 2.) it should have been taller to put a bowl beneath the coconut that’s being shredded. Yes I was worried about slipping and cutting my hand open with the blades but just finesse the coconut half around the blade until you figure it out. The best way to start is to just plunge in and dig a hole then work around the hole. Hubby was very curious and had to do the second half. Took only a few minutes and now I’m just waiting on the coconut milk purée to cool off enough to handle through the nut milk bag.

I hoped it would work, but intuitively knew that it would lack the stability and sturdiness needed to scrape pulp from coconuts. This device is a toy. I finished the job by attaching the scraper head to a hand drill. It made a mess, but it worked. This device has no functional value whatsoever. Do not buy.

This product has vacuum base and it is pretty sturdy. This helps in scrapping coconut easily. Overall quality of this product is really good.

The suction does not work as it is claimed. Just for crapping one coconut I have to put the suction 10 to 15 times because it is coming off so frequently. The parts are also of low quality. It is available for only $10.00 in local Indian store. It is better to look for something that can be screwed to a counter top or table. So, I am not recommending it to anybody and discouraging the product. It is also painful to hold the coconut in hand to scraping.

This simple product is awesome.If you are from place where you eat or make food using coconut this will get your job done. good product and happy
