Excellent product and excellent quality

I was looking for an in-line switch to get prepared for the arrival of my Spectrum Next as well as provide an easy on/off method for my current Speccy and other retro machines that’s do not have an on/off switch.I was only looking for one but ended up buying this bundle as there are 4 of them for a very good price. They work exactly as expected and make it a lot nicer to cut the power to my Speccy 48k instead of ripping the power cable out of the back all the time.Summary: Great bundle of inline switches for a great price. Just the job!

A really quick and convenient way of adding an inline switch on the low-voltage side for LED strips. Brings the possibility to have a switch in a more useful place than at the mains socket.Feels well made and I don't anticipate any problems. Just bear in mind the wire part is 22 AWG which is suitable for current less than 1 A. This is not specific advice on current rating, just a little heads up.

Needed a cut off switch for the lights on my bike as you otherwise have to disconnect the battery all the time . put this switch in a waterproof sleeve plugged it inline works a treat... front lights had charge lights showing when the battery was connected which meant it was still discharging when main lights not on.... (as i found out when I forgot to take the battery off one morning and the battery ran out of power on the ride home on a dark wet night..) now power is switched off with battery still connected.. the battery also "seems" to retain its charge longer now..... I do not know why the light manufacturers don't put waterproofed ones of these on in the first place..

I used these switches on an LED light strip fitting in a kitchen. They have a nice feel to the switching action, which makes a difference to me.You need to make sure the plugs are of the correct size. I think with the light strips it's all standard, so had no issues.As a side note, I had intended to turn one set of these LED lights on at the mains switch, but you get a delay of about one second due to the power adapter. Having the adapter on, and using a separate switch in the circuit means instant light.One thing that would have made them better for me, is to have a way to screw them to the cupboards (I fitted them to the bottom of the cupboards above the work surfaces). I made some 'straps' to hold one switch up by it's leads which worked and was done there and then. I glued the second one as it was right on the edge of a cupboard, and thanks to the flat bottom of the switch this also worked great. I used a two part epoxy glue, and gave it a day to cure. So slower, and needed pressure to keep in place, and needs to be clean and dry. Probably should have used my mitre fast glue, but didn't think of it.I've since purchased a second pair, so more than happy with them.

Pop these in line with a plug and an adapter for LED lights and you can use any pare LED strips you have.With a nice convenient switch. :)I placed this inside a bureau so my partner can light up her sewing projects.One happy crafter = One happy home.

In the description it says it is rated for less that 6A, which is true. If you're looking for it to work with a device that runs on 2A or less, which the switch is rated for, you'll be fine. However, if you're like me and have a device that requires 3A or more, you'll be out of luck. Very misleading.
