Unfortunately it is made overseas, Taiwan I think. The saw still works really well, thought. I love it and have had it for several years now. The dust collection sucks however.

Yes, it does. It is a great saw. A workhorse. I love that it is lightweight to take from job to job. The only negative is that dust collection is terrible, the bag is terrible.

The saw will only cut 8 1/2" max at 45 degrees. It is a great saw though.
