will the neck support be short enough for someone who's 5 feet tall? what are the dimensions for the back, with&without neck support?

If you are 5 ft, I expect you purchased a Size Small chair. The headrest is manipulatable from barely above the chair to several inches above it. Look at: https://store.hermanmiller.com/office/office-chairs/aeron-chair/2195348.html?lang=en_US#lang=en_US&start=1 for sizing info.

How far does the H4 headrest protrude from the back of the chair towards your head? I see it's adjustable but I want to know the max length

Mine is a H3 for the Classic Aeron so I am not sure if it is the same protrusion as the H4. Mine is about 4" from the back of the chair to the point where it comes into contact with the back of my head.
