Great item and easy to take along for clothes shopping
Great little pocket size item to take with you when shopping for the right color clothes, based on your "season". I've found Color Me Beautiful helpful in making the right choices when buying items to compliment my hair and skin tone. Recommend!

Love it! Finally choosing the right colors 🍁
I’m thrilled with my Color Me Beautiful Autumn Palette! The colors from the autumn pack that I got are sooo pretty. I tried it immediately for Christmas shopping and boy what a haul — there's a difference in the shopping experience having the confidence and ease of sifting through so many clothes to just pick in the ones that are my color; trying my colors in the dressing room and the ones that aren't were cool to see. I got compliments on the clothes that I got with this guide ! I know this is going to be a mainstay in my purse for last-minute shops so I'm glad it's compact and that the product feels and looks durable. Highly recommend for anyone who’s an autumn. My friend who I bought this with, who's a winter, got really nice outfits with her winter guide too . Lovee love this efficient tool

WARNING - BUYER BEWARE
WARNING: THE CURRENT COLOR ME BEAUTIFUL SWATCH PALETTES DO NOT MATCH THE COLORS FROM PRE-2010 COLOR ME BEAUTIFUL BOOKS AND CONSULTATIONS. For example, I remember the winter palette from the 1980's (when my colors were first done) had a beautiful "icy pink" (google icy pink and you will see many examples), yet on the current swatch "Icy Pink" looks exactly like light peach. Here are some more examples of what their named colors look like on the current swatches: "Icy Violet" looks like a kind of light gray. "Icy blue" looks like a bluish light mint. "Navy" is so dark it is almost black. "Emerald Turquoise" looks like kelly green. "Emerald Green" looks like a pine green color. "Pine" looks like dark muddy brown with a hint of green. "Clear Teal" is a dull, muted gray blue. I could go on... Because I had ordered an official CMB product, I made the mistake of not looking closely at the colors in the swatch palette I got, never thinking that the colors would be so wildly different from the CMB books. In CMB's 2008 book, all of the colors look like what you would expect when you see the name - but not the current swatches. And, to be clear, the color differences are not just a matter of value, tint, or tone; these are actually different colors (as in varying amounts of red, blue, and yellow in each). Also, the swatch palette I got was not a misprint or mistake; upon further investigation I can see it does match the photos here on Amazon and also on the Color Me Beautiful website. Unfortunately, I waited too long and missed the refund window and am now out the already overpriced $40 for the swatch palette. BUYER BEWARE!

A big help when you don't know what you're really seeing in the lighting around you.
It's a great concept. I gave it to my twenty-something year old daughter. I'll admit, it's a far cry from what I carried in my purse when I was in my twenty-something years. I have two suggestions to improve the product- first, increase the card size by about 1/2" length and width; and second, follow the example of a paint card- perhaps 3 shades of the color on the card to help those people who could use a little creative or imaginative boost. The color of artificial light now (blue, cool, "daylight", warm white, bright white) only adds to confusion and this set of cards will be very helpful.

Trendsetting concept now expanded by the Color Me a Season products. Both useful.
I was informally tested years ago when the Color Me Beautiful concept was introduced. Recently purchased the Color Me a Season book (choose your most complimentary season, clothing styles, makeup colors, jewelry metal and size, hair styles by facial shapes) and color fan (which has a much more expanded color pallet with multiple shades from dark to light for each color). Noted one reviewer's comments that there were a lot of discrepancies between the two. Curious, I bought both sets of color cards to compare them. Removed from the fans and mounted on paper in sheet protectors, then compared side by side, there are remarkably few discrepancies between the two Winter pallets. The most notable is true red, which is not recommended in the Season pallet. Oh, well! Makes me feel like a fire engine anyway.

Lots of compliments with the new style!
The swatch fan is a great size to keep in my purse, and the colors really are just right for me - I love it. I've been buying new colors that I don't usually think of and really appreciate all the compliments that I'm getting.I also used the CMB season guide to buy a Spring lipstick (Mocha Latte) and love it, too. I don't wear much makeup and never feel like myself when I do, so this is subtle but really pretty and I love it. I look forward to buying more CMB makeup for my season. Finally, my girlfriends bought their CMB swatches and we got together with our clothes that we loved but weren't our colors and traded. It was a lot of fun!

Great quality
Love this swatch fan. It’s small and compact so it’s easy to carry. It’s also great quality. The paper is thick and it’s easy to sort through. It’s a great tool that’s been helping me buy other colors with confidence rather than always choosing black or grey.
