This dining room table and chairs work great is the little kitchen nook we purchased it for and after assembly looks exactly as pictured. I marked down one star for sturdiness as it does work for smaller people or children rather than large adults but works great for us. The furniture was easy to assemble and included great detailed instructions including extra parts. Definitely an asset to our home!

I did not receive some of the parts .

It is beautiful to look at but not sturdy or useful. I am basically using as a decoration but only tiny people could sit on it. Also hard to assemble One chair doesn’t even fit in the table Seriously disappointing

DO NOT BUY THIS DINING SET!!!It is way too small for an adult. I put one chair together, sat in it, and said NO WAY! It reminded me of sitting in a chair at my kids 2nd grade parent/teacher conference in her classroom. It would easily be suitable for a 7 year old, but not me. I am not a large man but when I sat in the chair, my knees were higher than my waist. See photo - the chair on the left is from my current dining set - the chair on the right that seems comically small - IS comically small, and is from the set I ordered. Doesn't stop there, it gets worse. This product is from what is called a third party seller. I found out the hard way, what that means is, no matter how horribly bad a product is, you will have to pay for return shipping. The set cost $590. The return shipping is $530. No way will I return this, get back 60 bucks, and let them turn around and rip someone else off with this set. Homegoods Quality Shop customer service is lacking, and Amazon A to Z no help, because its third party. My sincere advice to anyone contemplating buying this dining set DO NOT DO IT. Do the legwork. Take the time and go to a reputable furniture store, and make sure you are comfortable sitting in any furniture before you buy it. If that is not possible, stay far, far, far, away from third party sellers, especially this one (unless of course you can afford to flush $590.00).

The idea behind this table set — smaller footprint — is brilliant. The execution, not so: this table is a headache.1. The shipment had the wrong set of items, so I had to reorder and wait for a chair frame cross-bar, while my dining set sat unfinished2. The seat cushion is attached to the chair frame with 3 screws that go at an angle straight into the cushion base. As you start using the chair, the screws fall out and the cushion detaches from the chair. You can't simply put back the screws because the holes now are too big. The only way I've found to deal with it is to tape the cushion to the frame — not very elegant, and who knows how effective3. The table surface scratches so easily, you have to always use a cover -- which defeats the purpose of having a beautiful wooden table. My next move is to buy a plastic or glass protector top -— extra work, extra money, and another departure from what you see in the descriptionConclusion: if this is something temporary for you, and you enjoy spending quality time caring for your furniture, the idea is good.

Fast shipment. Cute table. But bottom of table (inside wooden brace) arrived damaged with a large crack. Husband had to repair with clamp and wood glue.

Perfect for our space, Our cats like to hide in it. Assembly was simple enough. Seems durable I have dropped some tools on it and it didn’t scratch but I got placemats just case and for homework. Also after a few days I did go through an retighten everything and now it’s solid, haven’t had any wobbling sense

I am sure the product was fine but I needed to return it because it would not fit Be aware that a 20% restock fee will be charged if you decide to return. Their explanation was to send me a link to Amazon return policy of where I could not find anything about it
