Does the lights only appear on one side of the bike or does it glow on both sides?

They glow on both sides of the wheels ...you can see the glow from all directions

Lights work intermittently. I want to buy more for my kids but if they work all the time while riding the bikes. Is there something you can do about ?

It has to get up to a certain speed before they come on. This is so they don’t run the battery down as it sits still. It only looks right when they’re moving anyway.

Attach to the spokes. Very easy.
