Q: Do the legs look more blue or more green?

The legs are more blue than green.

Q: Would this stool be tall enough to sit at the stove while cooking?

I don't know which size you bought but I had bought first the 29 inch stool which was good but since I'm short at 5'4" tall I had to purchase the 24 inch stool and for me it works just fine because I use it to sit when I cook at my stove. Both sizes are good for sitting at the stove and cooking but for me personally the 29 inch stool was too tall to try to sit on. I have arthritis pretty bad so that's why I need a stool so I can cook and sit and stay off of my sore knees. If you're taller than me you'll want the taller stool. Hope this helps.
