Flow control valve
This flow valve/fitting helped reduce the flow for my application. I am using it in a Saginaw Type 1 pump on a 76 Ford F150 truck. The Saginaw pump was an upgrade from the original style Ford pump. I tried the fitting that came with the Saginaw pump and the steering was too tight and fought me on when turning. The fluid was extremely hot. Thru a lot of research, I felt I needed less flow. This fitting did the trick. The important thing is the orifice (hole) size. This one has a .114 size orifice, which reduced the flow rate compared to the orifice size of the fitting that came with the Saginaw pump, which was .140. A lot of the fittings that you buy online do not have this information and you have to email or call and ask. Good luck and best wishes from Florida. BTW, the Saginaw pump works much better than the Ford pump.

Made steering feel on a 1967 Camaro more modern.
This made the steering feel on a 1967 Camaro feel a lot less floaty. I know it technically just makes the wheel harder to turn but made the steering feel a lot more modern to me.Be aware you also need to purchase the o ring to flared hose adapter depending on the hoses you have.

Power steering flow reducer valve
This power steering flow reducer valve is used when you have a Gen 2 GM power steering pump connected to a Mustang power rack and pinion steering when building street rods. The GM pump produces 3 to 3.5 GPM of power steering fluid and Mustang rack and pinion is only able to receive 2 GPM!!!!

No instructions
You really should delete the detailed instructions as it does not come with any instructions. It is a simple install but the detailed instruction description is a bad joke on your customers.

Easy swap...
Perfect fit...Swapped out and driving it an hr later...Get the instruction on line is you don't know what you are doing...The rig doesn't dart or wonders at speed any more...Steering feels a tad stiffer on city streets, but that's fine by me....Great product......!!!
