I enjoyed this question so much I took a snapshot of it and showed my gf. I got this for her as a gift. She absolutely loves it. I always get stuffed animals for her when I travel, and this is her favorite by far. She always tells me it now replaces me on the bed. So, yes, definitely huggable for an adult.
