Slightly Spicy Steak Sauce
This tastes a lot like A-1 used to taste, back in the day. I believe that when Kraft acquired that brand, they simplified the recipe over the years (and swapped out the sugar for that ubiquitous high fructose corn syrup). Whatever happened to the original A-1? You can find the perfect substitute right here!

Tangy sauce is versatile
I'd forgotten about Pickapeppa Original Hot Sauce for decades. In the mid-70's, a coworker of mine from New Orleans brought a bottle of the stuff and an 8 ounce block of Philadelphia Cream Cheese to a gathering at the beach, put the cheese on a paper plate, poured the sauce onto it and served it with a box of crackers. I don't remember what kind of crackers but I think they were Wheat Thins because I can visualize the yellow box. At the time, I thought it was the best thing I'd eaten that day and I purchased a bottle the next time I was at the grocery store. I had not tasted this again until last week after I purchased a bottle from Amazon. I know the sauce can be used for so many things, but I put some Nancy's Organic Cream Cheese on a spoon and covered it with Pickapeppa Original Hot Sauce, then slipped it into my mouth. It was as good as I'd remembered, perhaps even better because I didn't have the cracker to interrupt the smoothness of this duo. The next day, I put some on my breakfast egg and it was just as tasty.

Was disappointed that lid was broken
Glad that even though the lid was broken, not a much leaked out. We enjoy it on beef and pork

I love this stuff!!
I don't do spice, but I still like a little something on my tacos. This definitely does the trick! I've had 2 other friends try it and now they're hooked too lol. Kinda reminds us of A1 sauce though. Sounds weird on tacos, but trust me... It's so good!

Great party favor
Pic a pepper is wonderful with crackers or chips. So hard to find. Thank you for finding it for me.

Nice flavor not hot though
Ok this is my first time having this and this reminds me of Lea Perrin steak sauce I was expecting something different it’s not hot but it’s not a bad flavor at all. I mean I like it, I was just thinking it would be spicer it’s a sweet tangy kind of sauce I’ll probably add some jalapeños powder to it to make it hotter. I’m not sure yet if I’ll buy it again it just came today and I tasted it from the bottle I’ll see how I feel once added to food.
