Installation was really easy and straightforward, which was a big plus. The covers fit well and stay in place, which I appreciate. The material feels like good quality and seems durable. However, the design doesn’t quite match the product photo. Still, it does the job and looks nice in the car.Also, my car is a Tesla and it doesn’t have passenger grab handles on the roof, so I couldn’t secure the cover exactly like shown in the pictures. Still, I decided to keep it because the price-to-quality ratio is 10/10. It looks nice and works well overall, so I’m happy with the purchase.

This car seat cover extender from Firstwell has been a lifesaver for my two big dogs! It’s super sturdy, easy to install and holds their weight (combined 180 lbs) without any issues. It didn't fit EXACTLY, but it was close enough in my Ford flex to work. The hard bottom keeps it from sliding around, and the waterproof feature is a huge plus for messy car rides. Another plus is that it keeps all that shed hair stuck to this material that can be removed and wiped. That said, the material doesn’t quite look like the PU leather in the product photos—it feels a bit more like heavy-duty fabric. Still, it’s durable and does the job well. Definitely recommend for pet owners needing a reliable car seat cover!

Listen, for $40 (and I got an $8 coupon!), this seat protector is AWESOME. Granted, I have only had this for about a week, however I believe it will live up to its hype. Most hard bottom seat protectors are between $50-$120. This cover is faux leather (it actually feels similar to thin leather), fits in my sedan well (I believe it would fit in a small SUV and truck well), has a storage pocket, and seems durable. I purchased this so my pups would have more support and balance when riding in the car, as well as hauling items in my back seat. The "heavy duty plates" are a heavy cardboard, so I am unsure how they could hold 400lbs, with out bending, but they are sturdy for my dogs, groceries, etc. Plus, even if they do bend and lose their sturdiness, just go to Lowes or Home Depot and purchase a plastic or hard wall board, cut it into the size of the board pieces and voila! you have new, sturdier boards, for less than what you would pay for a $60+ hard bottom seat cover. Do not listen to Kathy from Iowa and her ridiculous 1 star review for being "not real leather" and "a lot of assembly required". The listing literally states that it is PU leather (faux, not real), and it also states that you have to place the plates in the bottom-which is SO easy. There are two board sizes (as shown in the pictures), and you match them up to the compartments, slide them in, and zip them up. Even if there are no instructions, an elementary child could put this cover together. The only downside to this is that the storage pocket is mesh, not solid like shown in the images (at least mine is mesh), which to me is no big deal, storage is storage, and it is not very cushy/comfortable (easily remedied with a thin mat). Anywho, my point is that if you are searching for an affordable hard seat cover, this is well worth the purchase. 5⭐

This dog car seat cover is really god! The hard bottom design adds more space, giving my dog plenty of room to stretch and relax on long trips. The built in support plates hold up super well, even for large dog (consider mine is a Boxer). I love the high quality leather, feels very soft and comfortable. It's scratch resistant, waterproof, and easy to clean (just some wipes and ready to go). It's a piece of mind that it has protection for my backseat and doors, keeping them safe from dirt and scratches. So, for short or long rides this a must have, I highly recommend!

I have a lot of dogs and I’ve gone through a couple of these types of backseat covers over the years. Previous ones failed with time due to the weight of my dog, we were made of materials that would not survive some rather disgusting accidents. This thing is great!
