Good quality sampling knife
This is a good quality sampling knife. It's probably not the best, but for the price, it's fine. The scales are perhaps a hair loose, and the rivets aren't rock solid, but this isn't a knife for heavy chopping or prying or anything like that. It's a knife for sampling fruit in the field, and for that it's fine. The stainless steel blade will make it hard to sharpen, but it also resists corrosion from acidic fruit. And it came sufficiently sharp for most purposes. The length of the blade is impressive, and the sheath is sturdy and well made. If you sample fruit all day, every day, this may not be the knife for you. But for a smaller farms, it's just fine.
