Absolutely awesome for my untreated, mineral-heavy well water!After a week in Europe ending in The Netherlands where from-the-tap water is taken very seriously, I knew I had to do SOMETHING to make my shower better. Even my husband noticed how nice my hair looked after Amsterdam showers! I googled best shower filters on the plane and ordered this one. The immediate effect is amazing: the filter instantly captured iron and minerals. My shampoo lathered. I could rinse it out of my hair. My skin did not feel parched after the shower. My hair dried beautifully. I have eczema and very dry skin, so this is a real win.

I started out with the AquaBliss SPF500 because it was budget-friendly, but the downside was having to take apart my rain shower head every time I changed the filter. My girlfriend has the Jolie, and I was immediately intrigued by its premium feel, but I didn’t want to compromise my rain shower head or deal with proprietary equipment—especially since we’re moving in together.That’s when I discovered the Weddell Duo, and it’s been the perfect solution. It delivers high-end performance, is easy to maintain, works seamlessly with my rain shower head, and has a longer lifespan than both AquaBliss and Jolie. It really is the best of both worlds: premium quality like Jolie, with practical flexibility, durability, and compatibility with my shower setup. I couldn’t be happier with the upgrade.

The Weddell Duo Shower Filter really improved my showers. Water feels cleaner, chlorine smell is gone, and my skin and hair are noticeably softer. Installation was easy, and pressure stays strong. It’s a little bulky and replacement filters cost more, but overall, worth it for healthier showers.

I researched a lot of shower filters and watched many review videos before choosing this filter. I live in central Ohio where the water is moderately hard and is chlorinated. It hasn’t rained much here and I’ve notice a change in my shower water. Shampoo doesn’t lather very well and my hair and skin don’t feel “clean” after a shower. I think it has to do with the concentration of minerals and additives in the water that leaves behind a residue. I wanted a solution that would be less expensive than a full home water filtration system. This filter was very easy to install by myself. Instructions were straightforward, the seals were tight, and it doesn’t take up much space. The water pressure is the same as before and there were no leaks. I like that the filters are visible and you can see when you need to change them. It does not claim to soften water, but after the first shower I could tell a major difference! My hair dries faster and has more volume to it. My skin feels softer and smooth. The filter is competitively priced compared to other filters out in the market, has high scores on chlorine removal, and I think it’s well worth its value!

I live in an apt in an old house, on village water. A couple years ago I bought the aqua youth 2.0 filter, last year changed it out with an aqua bliss 500. With those , hard to tell when they should be replaced. Wish I had bought the Weddell to begin with.Great design. Lighter weight because it uses a foam carbon filter. I noticed during the first use, my tub floor felt cleaner under my feet, less slippery. Feels great.Setup is simple, but read the directions :) it has a plastic fittings, with a soft seal, so finger tight is plenty, like a water bottle cap. People who have leaks probably have the water pressure too high, or damaged threads.. from overtightening or cross thread.I would recommend this filter, the others I've tried, not so much. I paid 90 for it in September 2025, but to me it's a must have. Blessings- I see a lot of people have issues with water pressure. My recommendation would be, buy a shower wand or shower head with a wider spray! Also, the filters work better/ last longer if it's not maxed out on pressure capacity!

While the threads and size were a correct fit, my particular shower wand had a small design element that prevented it from screwing on completely. This wasn’t a flaw with the Weddell filter but rather a limitation of my shower head’s design. I purchased a better-designed shower wand, and it fit perfectly with no leaks. The included plumber’s tape was a nice touch.One of the main reasons I chose this filter was a YouTube video from a channel focused on water purity. The reviewer lab-tested multiple shower filters, including this one, and it performed the best among budget-friendly options. Seeing real data to back up its effectiveness made my decision much easier. Not to mention that it is NSF Certified, which a lot of the other budget friendly options are not.Some may find the design a little bulkier compared to other filters on Amazon. I initially had the same thought, but once installed, it doesn’t look bad and doesn’t seem to affect water flow.I bought this filter because my local water quality is terrible, and my scalp and skin have been suffering as a result. After my first shower, my hair actually felt different in a good way—maybe it’s the placebo effect, but I’m excited to see if the benefits continue. Even if the results aren’t dramatic, knowing that this filter is backed by solid testing gives me peace of mind that my family and I are using cleaner water. So far, I’m really happy with it!
