Fantastic product!!
Washed an old real sheepskin rug that I have used for years as a dog bed on our back porch. It looked and smelled really bad.Instructions said not to wash it, but the point was mute.Washed the rug in the bathtub, gave it a real good scrubbing.Could not be happier with the outcome.Clean, soft and even smells good now.And I didn’t use much of the shampoo at all.Highly recommend this product!

Works on all wool items, even sheepskin rugs!
This product is magic. Cleans and deodorizes my cashmere, lambswool, merino and wool blends like never before. Works in the washing machine. Worked to clean my foul biohazard of a sheepskin throw thingie too. I mean it’s amazing. It also smells so good, and really subtle so you’re not getting a headache. I love it. On my second bottle.

Hands down amazing!
This is hands down my favorite laundry detergent! It not only leaves my clothes clean, but they come out softer than when they go in and they smell fresh and clean.

Excellent Product
I never leave reviews but had to come back and say that this stuff makes everything I wash so soft and smell so nice. My partner and I both love it! Originally bought it for some alpaca wool sweaters we brought back from Peru, but now I want to use it on everything.

I wish the instructions were clearer, here they are for you
I wasted half a bottle of this and I don't want that to happen to you!!Here's the end goal: clean fur, soft feel, relaxed skin correct? You can see in my pics that what this does. Pics are of a rug that's been on the floor as a dog mat, cat lounge, and on our couch now after washing. To do that here's what you need to do. For years I've used a different product and washed over 20 skins/times, large, small, rugs, throws, dog rugs, pieces, etc. but it's expensive and I thought I'd give a local brand a try; I'm from Idaho not Australia after all ;)Fill your washer with lukewarm water. Then put your sheepskin/s in. I put one rug, two singles, whatever, don't overstuff. Agitate the wash for a minute then just let it rest a few, repeat. What you are doing here is a PRE-rinse. Why the instructions NOWHERE say this is is important, I don't know. But if you want it clean you have got to do this step. I forgot, used the required soap, the skins were disgusting and I had to start over. Basically all that lanolin just locks in the dirt. So agitate, rest, agitate, rest, spin out all that disgusting water. Then I take the much cleaner sheepskins out, and refill the wash again with tepid water (you don't want to shock them with hot or cold because that causes all kinds of problems like fur loss shrinkage etc; if your washer is newer maybe you can set the temp better than my old one and may not have to remove them.Once the washer is full, NOW add your "soap", mix it in with your hand, then add your wet skins back in. agitate, rest, agitate for 30 seconds or so, rest, etc a couple times. Let that skin soak an hour or so. 15 min as the bottle states isn't enough! After it's soaked and rested in that yummy lanolin for an hour or two, give it another short agitation no more than a minute or so, then spin it out DO NOT RINSE. You did that in the pre-rinse remember? Hang those skins out to dry on a rack or layed fur down on towels shaking occasionally. I've not used a brush for years, and they come out fine. But using one before you wash and after they are dry gives your skins a nice fluffy look.Good luck. This product doesn't smell after they are dry and does a decent job cleaning.

Great product
We have a large sheepskin rug by our bath tub. Our dog vomited all over it. This product got it clean and kept it supple and soft. I highly recommend it.

so far so good....
I was gifted a sheepskin a few years ago and even though I have been real careful in using it, it eventually needed to be washed. I knew it was supposed to be treated special so looked up the soap to use and this one won. I couldnt decide if I should hand wash it or not so asked the person who gave it to us and she had all the washing instructions....but hadn't ever given them to us!! It is now on its 2nd day dripping dry and I have been combing it all along. So far it looks great and this soap seems to do it great!!
