Not Deluxe enough but good
Classic unplugged album. If your an Eric Clapton fan at all then you know how great this performance was and a absolute must to own! This is a newly remastered set that included the DVD with the CD. Unfortunately for some reason the concert was just a DVD and not Blu Ray High Def Disc. Not sure why they would release on DVD at this point when everyones got High Def tvs and blu ray players. There are some additional tracks pulled from rehearsals of songs that did not appear in the concert like a "My Fathers Eyes" and "Circus" or alternate takes of some songs. This would have been in my opinion the definitive version to own if they had converted the concert to blu ray high def and maybe include some retrospective features as well.

An all time classic
This is a classic of Eric Clapton’s career. Nothing will compare with this version. Eric has just lost his 3 year old son- he was going to take him to the zoo- boy lived with mother- this was visitation- the boy fell 25 stories out of an open window close to the floor. Tragedy. Eric fell apart- drinking- drugging and so depressed- he did not want to live. Then he found a note that his son had printed for him that said “I want to see you again”. Eric got a grip- detoxed- began playing guitar again and wrote Tears in Heaven. A tribute to his son😭Eric won all kinds of awards- this is his best record and the emotion in his voice is evident. Once you hear this CD you will never forget it. Eric ‘s voice cannot be duplicated- if he sang it a 100 times. Sorrow and pain and agony of a mess of a father who lost his really sweet and beautiful son- who was beginning to play the guitar that Dad had given to him!👌❤️
