Vantrue S1Pro Dash Cam Review
I have had a different model, the Vantrue N2X, for my vehicle for 8 months now. I have been so impressed by its build, video quality and reliability, that I purchased the S1 Pro for my wife’s car. I would have purchased the same model I have, but my wife liked the S1 Pro's compact design and rear camera; she has been happy ever since. This dashcam has been installed now for a few months and it has been nothing but exceptional. The installation was very simple and the initial setup and configuration was a snap. All of the installation materials were provided - dual sided adhesive pads, camera mount, clips and even a nifty, scuff-proof plastic tool to separate the moldings so you can easily tuck and hide the cables behind the interior trim. The on-screen configuration instructions are descriptive and easy to follow along with. Once you're done, you literally set it and forget it. This dash cam is loaded with features, such as - voice commands, remote viewing and file transfer through the phone app, parking mode and more! Its compact design enables it to sit virtually unseen behind the rearview mirror. The image quality of both cameras, during day and night, is very clear and high-definition. The audio recordings are crystal clear and the simple and easy-to-remember voice commands work great, providing hands-free operation. Transferring videos or pictures from the camera is super easy - simply eject the micro SD card from the camera and install it in a PC or laptop. You can even connect to the camera's wi-fi and quickly download videos and pictures to the app and sync them to your phone's photo library. In summary - with its exceptional build and image quality, rich feature set, reliability, I am extremely satisfied with the S1 Pro and would highly recommend it.

Dash cam that works and easy to install
Overall / TLDR:Great dash camera and easy to install. Do not forget to get the SD card, as I almost forgot when buying this.I purchased the Vanture N2X dash cam as my partner got into an accident and the insurance company was claiming that it was 50 / 50 fault when it was 100 percent the other driver’s fault and decided we needed to have supported evidence going forward. There are so many dash cams with different features which is why it took a while for me to decide. I do have a backup camera when reversing, but I didn’t really want to install the line all the way to the back of my car. There were different options if you have searched, and I was leaning toward the rear camera inside the car rather than the rear camera outside the car due to reading about oxidation. However, I ended up buying the Vanture N2X as it appeared to be small and it had a camera for the interior (which I hope will help if I go in a rear or side collision accident).Installation:This took me an hour to install. The reason it took about an hour was I was debating where I wanted to place the camera so it could be hidden yet capture the road as best as possible. I picked the driver side near the rearview mirror to help it blend in. I attached the double-sided electrostatic sticker, but similar to screen protectors, there were some bubbles, which I tried to remove (did not get all of them but got most of them). After, I attached the base to the other side of the electrostatic sticker as the instruction said to let it sit for a while. I started to shove the wires in the gaps. The hardest part when hiding the wires was the A pillar trim on the side. I shoved it in as best as I could, and I finally got it charger toward the cigarette lighter. After said and done, it was an easy task.Side notes:I was messing around the settings and for some reason, I was not able to get the interior camera to work. I did reset to the default settings and the interior camera now works. As for the picture quality, you probably won’t be able to see license plates via the dash cam, but on the app (when connecting Wi-Fi direct), the videos did come out well, but zooming in was a slight issue as the pinching the fingers outward did trigger the brightness versus the zooming in feature. Also, there were some instances where the camera might have been sensitive and had some prompt, but it went away on its own.Another item (after reading the other reviews and that some had suggested) was the ability to use a power bank if you have not hard wired the dash cam and wanted to continue recording after the power was turned off. I initially tried plugging in a USB C to USB C cable to my power bank, but it did not work. You may be able to get a USB A to USB C cable to the power bank or cigarette charger to work, but after spending several minutes, I decided to install it with the items it came with.Great purchase and it does help ease my mind driving. Oh and do not forget to buy an SD card.

Great dashcam
This is a very well built camera.I was able to install and download the app on my phone fairly easy. You can download the ride on your phone. You can select 1,3,or 5 minute clip loops. So your clips are as long as you want. I like 5 minutes and I can download that on my phone in under a minute. You must do your homework if you want to put your ride on the cloud or go live. You need the lte app. And I'm not sure all phones are compatible with the lte app. So check it out. It's about $150.00 more. And if you want 24 hour servalence you may need to get a hardwire option. But if you want to just ride and record, you will be very happy. No need to use the app for your phone, you can view on the camera itself. But the phone app is great and I recomend it. You need to buy a scan disk. I got the 512 and I think it will hold 40 hours and then record over old data. Again the wireless phone app let's you pick the 5 minute clip you want and download it on your phone. You need the camera on and your phone synced . I do it in my driveway near my wifi.I download all my 5 minute ride clips when I get home from driving. I'm also not sure about the customer phone service,I did not see a phone number, only e mail and hope you get a response. So you better check that out.. I would not intentionally buy anything that I can't talk to a customer service. But I did!So I would say get the camera and install it on a nice day with someone that has a bit of knowledge setting electronic devices.Goodluck!
