Small but nice
This item met my expectations. I had read previous reviews so I knew what I was ordering. This model is small but will be fine to meet my needs. I added a photo with a AA battery to show size comparison. It is made of a hard plastic or rubber. The pieces are not flexible. The hinges kind of shove together and move adequately. I have had them come apart when closed but a quick shove puts them back in place.I would not recommend this as a toy for a small child. This would be adequate as a manipulative for older students to make a lesson more interesting. It would also be good on a desk or shelf to display.

What Toy?
Dunno why they call it toy? Its small but really detailed and well presented. I really like how the coronary arteries and veins are illustrated and as a cardio-tech, I am really satisfied with how it looks. Its great for the price you pay. The only downside to it are the joints that attach the heart to the parts bit its really negligible. Cheers if you do buy it!

Inexpensive, great for teaching kids, quality not the best
I homeschool my 4 year old and we recently did a unit about our hearts. I used it privately with just my daughter, and also brought it to our homeschooling co-op classes. She and the other preschoolers loved taking this heart model apart and looking at real images of hearts in books from the library. They could identity some of the major features, like the chambers and valves. I plan to keep using this as my daughter ages, going more in-depth as she gets older. The instructions were easy to follow to assemble it. The stand broke immediately, and the pieces don’t all fit perfectly, so it doesn’t have the best quality. However, I am satisfied with it for using with our young children, it was inexpensive and really added some authenticity to our lessons.

tiny, wont stay together
the only positive i have to say on this piece is its general accuracy, other than that, assembly was incredibly difficult, to the point where it will not stay together, the pieces keep popping off, i cant open and close the chambers without pieces falling off, its a lot smaller than i had thought, to be fair thats more on me than them, however for 25$ i would expect it to at the very least larger and poor quality :// but its structure as far as assembly and function it falls incredibly short, can not recommend

Great for visual learners!
This heart model was purchased for our daughter who is taking medical classes in high school. It's smaller than the photo would lead you to believe but was still detailed and made visualization of what she was studying on paper much easier. I think it worked great as a study aide. She earned a perfect 100 on the test of the heart in the weeks following receiving this model.

Its ok
I love the size. The educational value.However. It’s hard to manipulate without pieces falling off. My son 6 already broke the stand in 1 month. I wish the book it came with had more information. It was difficult for me to snap the pieces that open and close into place.

Love it
My daughter got this for Christmas so she can learn about the body. This is labeled well, it comes apart and then the pieces go back together and teach about the way it pumps and it is wonderful

Great product
Well made, accurate. My first grader wanted to do her class presentation on the human heart, so she brought this into her classroom for the kids to take apart and inspect. It withstood 25 little pairs of hands!
