Awesome battery
This battery is truly awesome. My jbl speaker kept dieing on me and I tried all the fixes on YouTube to no avail. I figured I could probably change the battery out for about 25 dollars and possibly save my speaker. The video on step by step procedure is very easy and I was able to change it out in about 30 minutes. The kit comes with everything you need to get it done. This battery is more powerful than the original and seems to last longer.

perfect replacement for aging jbl extreme
the stock battery was not lasting longer than 2-3 minutes, this swapout was easy to do (follow the youtube video!) and now the speaker runs longer than it did when it was new.

It fits, and it works
The battery arrived in a large box with a plastic spudger, a small Phillips screwdriver, and plenty of padding but no instructions. Went online and watched a video showing how to replace the battery, and it went pretty smoothly. I used my iFixit set instead of their screwdriver but no problems. The unit arrived 50% charged like all Lithium batteries should - I charged the Xtreme to 100% before using it, and it worked like a charm for several hours with no issues. Well worth the investment, much cheaper than buying a new speaker.
