This is a great product! We have used a bin for composting and it is full with little breakdown occurring. We run this device once a week or so and it willl turn your compost into a soil like material in 2-3 hours. Easy to use and clean.

Maybe a bit pricey, but it is just right for small household. Works perfectly. No odor. no noise, and very efficient.

This is an excellent addition to my kitchen!Pros:- It has really helped me feel better about reducing food waste and handling food scraps more easily.- I love that the compost stays dry, which makes it super simple to manage.- Even when old food goes in, there’s no odor at all.- It's pretty quiet— I can't hear it from the bedroom, but if you're nearby, you might need to turn up the TV.Cons:- While it's processing, there is a mild smell, which can be a bit noticeable in small spaces like apartments. I didn't notice this much until recently, as I usually run it in the evenings.User-Friendly:- It is SO easy. I just press the button and it goes for a few hours depending on what the compost needs.- Do NOT interrupt the cycle, because you cannot restart it from where it left off.Overall: The process is seamless, and I feel great knowing I'm reducing my environmental footprint. This review is a 4 star only because of the mild smell and the size of the product (it requires counter space consideration).

Mine broke after 1.5 month use. Now I am at the process of returning it and hope to get a refund. I am sad it broke as I am living in the very dry state and the natural decomposition of the plant food leftovers is close to impossible. To specify, it was a burned engine .PS The manufacture was not taking the responsibility. IT is the other story about communication with them. My recommendations - DO NOT buy it at all

My husband is amazed by this device everyday. I love that we don’t have to keep our scraps in a container on the countertop until we dump it. There has been no smell I’ve noticed from all our scraps being in there. It holds a decent amount. The charcoal was easy to put in. It’s quiet when running we mainly run it at night after it’s full. It is bigger than I was expecting but we have the counter space for it. My husband wants them to come out with a 5 gallon bucket size we can put in the garage haha

It’s pretty cool how this thing turns your food waste into dirt. So far I’ve put grapefruit skins, banana peels, avocado skins, egg shells, coffee grounds and potato peelings into it and it turns everything to dirt that I sprinkle in my garden boxes. It will be interesting to see how my plants do this year.

My FoodCycler recently died, so I decided to replace it with a Lomi. The Lomi bucket is larger, easier to clean and seems better made. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase.
