It’s very impressively built. Got it for the kid. He loves it. Runs it till the battery runs out. He figured out the controls quickly.This company is awesome as well. Dog ate the tire unfortunately and they said they would replaced whole unit. I don’t write reviews but with this awesome generosity I had to write one. Great customer service.

This was a gift for someone and when it was opened, I was impressed by the size of the excavator!! It looks well made and doesn't look cheap. I thought it was cool to include a mini version of a basketball for the claw. This excavator toy is definitely for kids and adults. I will be looking into the Ruko remote controlled vehicles as I would like to eventually get an entire set of remote controlled construction equipment.

I ordered this remote control excavator for my 7 year old son. He absolutely loves it, but there is definitely room for improvement in the overall design and functionality:1 - It moves VERY quickly - it's very hard to fine tune the movements as they're just too fast.2 - You can hear the plastic gears make a "snapping" sound when you reach the end of the movement capability. Only time will tell how long those last.3 - The arm will not drop very far and does not accurately simulate an excavator's capabilities. For example, if you're next to a step, the arm will not reach down to the next step to pick up an object. The arm will only reach approximately an inch down.4 - The majority of the toy is plastic - it would be better as metal or die cast.5 - The pins that remove and install the different attachments are plastic and are wearing quickly.6 - In order to change the batteries, the toy has to be positioned in a very particular manner to access the battery holder. If the battery is dead, you can not move the toy in to the correct position which means you can't access the battery holder.On the positive, the batteries are fantastic and last literally for hours. The machine looks and moves like the real thing. Our son has had countless hours of fun playing with this excavator, but there's room for improvement in design and function.

Excellently constructed

We played with this excavator for a couple days inside. No sand. The joystick controlling one of the tracks has begun sticking making it hard to line up with the dump truck. The boom arm doesn’t lift very high and the boom and bucket all operate together. It makes scooping and dumping frustrating because if you hold the scoop button a second too long it dumps what you just scooped. Independent control of the bucket would be helpful. We will be returning this one.

Bought this for my nephew during Christmas and he loved it. Not only did he love it, but everyone couldn't stop using it including grownups. Functions as it should and very effectively. Also not too pricey for the quality.
