Best net I have ever bought and I live on the lake and throw a net almost everday and go through several mid to high end nets a year. First throw from my boat with the Pancake and I wrapped the most thorny giant tree I have ever seen and after a half hour of trying to be careful I just pulled as hard as I could thinking the net would be ripped to shreds but oh no, it pulled the tree up and was barely stretched in a few places. Not one hole! Most nets wouldn't even be repairable after a hang up like that. Plus when this thing hits the water there is no waiting for it to hit bottom, its on the bottom, 6 footer is heavier than some 8 footers I have. Might want to size down a notch if you like your shoulder. I,m catching all wives shad (amazingly fast) by sight and throw, Not just the best net for the money. Its the best net period!

I am a full time charter captain , I’ve used all the top brands. While this isn’t the highest build quality of seen it’s pretty good and great buy for the price point . Opens up great and I have caught a ton of bait using it .

I've had several different cast nets I've the past two years but they were all 6 foot or lessand never more than a foot per pound. As soon as they touched a rock they would hang up and tear. Not this one, it is very durable and strong knots at all tir off spots make it very well built. And the extra heavy weights make it sink very fast catching the bait fish off guard. It opens up completely flat so it functions just like it's supposed to. With a little practice I was throwing perfect pancakes so it's very easy to use and you can't beat it for what it costs. The incredible value of this net is unmatched. It is truly a very good cast net for someone looking to up their game from the Walmart 4 foot junk nets and start catching real bait in good numbers.

Well made compared to more expensive nets.Hard to find 6’ diameter, which is easier to throw when wading or in tight areas like docks.Weights seem a bit light for deeper water or throwing from a boat but work well for me when wading and throwing the net on shallow water.Also weights don’t tangle easily so easy to reload.Opens fully and I’ve caught a lot of finger mullet, medium size Pilchards and small Mojarras with it.So far it seems well made and worth the money compared to my other nets.

I typically refrain from writing reviews; however, I feel compelled to commend the exceptional quality of this particular cast net. Unlike the standard nets I have purchased from retailers like Walmart and Amazon, this net stands out due to its meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail. Though it has only been in my possession for a day, I am thoroughly impressed by the quality it exudes. I had the opportunity to utilize the net yesterday and successfully caught a 50-inch red drum using a 3-inch mullet. your results may very however I doubt the quality of the net will differ.. Yes yes yes it is worth the extra $40 for this net that you may spend over the cheaper net. You plan to purchase. Wink.

This is the exact same net as the Black Pearl CG- XTS series but instead of being $220 for a 6ft net it’s $100… The first 2 pics are the Amazon pancake net & other 2 pics are of the Black Pearl invisible weight series & it’s even more costly than CG-XTS series. The netting itself is same along with brail lines, horn, swivel, pull rope & all exactly the same!!!

All I have to say is WOW!!!! Straight out of the bucket the net is soft and workable immediately. It's like it Bowens itself with minimum effort. Absolutely love the lead line arrangement it doesn't interfere with your braille lines make reloading easy as 1 2 3. I will be purchasing 1 or 2 more nets very soon.
