Absolutely LOVE this product, I can’t wait for season 2, as rewatching season 1 was so much fun with this thing on (yes I’m a geek like that) with the proper painting techniques you can make it look exactly like it does in the show, I think the developer said there’s 1 seam line that is different from what you see on the show? I can’t even tell which line he means, it is flawless, and so many of the screens are the exact ones you see in the show which is so much fun especially when watching with friends. I currently use it as my bedside alarm clock and couldn’t be happier with it, it feels sturdy, of course the back is all plastic but I am the worst at taking care of things and have used it a bunch with no scratches or issues. The radio is hit and miss, but I’m sure there are modders among the fan base that can remedy that. I also love that they update it via a website and hard link to your computer. Speaking of which, it is my new favorite tool when doing video editing on my computer, there is a mode that lets you use some of the knobs and buttons to interface somewhat and the inputs are perfect for video editing imo. It is crazy comfortable to wear, and that is also easily modified as well without damaging it if you need a size up or down. I’m roughly 180lbs and it fits me well, though I do have slender wrists for my frame. If you’re on the fence I highly recommend buying this before they get wise and jack up the price, as I can totally see them doing with the popularity of this IP. Just price check the older ones and see how they stack up, while this one is sized right to actually be worn and look cool. I added some model paint to mine to give it more of a realistic feel, though my skill is pretty limited in that capacity, I’m pretty happy with the results. Some rust, dirt, and bloody fingerprints fit right in to the aesthetic I think 😂

My son is a big PC gamer and loves it! I even think it’s pretty cool and I know very little about the game.Good quality. My son said it matches the game so perfectly that he didn’t even need the instructions to navigate the screens.It was worth the purchase in my opinion. Added pictures for reference.

This is very cool! Perfect for display. Be sure to update it and customize it on the website. It actually fits me, but I see this for Cosplay and display only. Perhaps further updates will make it more useful than a clock.

I love fallout and the pip-boy did not disappoint. It is so much fun and I’ll walk around the house wearing it and my son is 6 and he just looks at me with confusion. It is definitely worth the price. The pip-boy is realistic and the material is not a cheap material. It’s a good size and it’s not too heavy. The instructions are easy to follow to set up. Anybody who is a diehard fan of fallout needs this for their collection.

Fallout Collectors Dream!!The Pip-Boy’s quality is amazing, once updating the software for pip-boy the functionality of it was working well!There was an issue with the fit for people who have a bit bigger arms. But I like that you are able to take out the inside memory foam inserts to accommodate that so it won’t be a super tight fit.Overall wonderful to have it as a collectors or cosplay item!

I ordered this in January, it said I would get it in May, it showed up and laid at my door today without my knowledge.First off, it looks just like the show and close enough to the game.My biggest peeve is that I knew it was made in die cast metal and the weight is 2.6 pounds.Well, that is 2 pounds too much to have on your wrist for any length of time.I found myself having to rest my arm at every moment and the weight also tends to twist your arm in whatever side the thing is leaning at the time.I seriously doubt the actors on the show wore close to 3 pounds on their wrist all day for 16 hours of filming.The USB connection provides a link for recharging and if your browser supports it, your Windows PC can upgrade to the latest set of AVI and script files to do it's thing. Again, as long as you have the right browser, not firefox. No manual upgrading as of this writing.Can you use the USB for access to the internal SD Card?, nope, unless it is in a setting which I have yet to find.Can you play your own music or video's. People have hacked it to do so but not immediately with their fabricated PIP-BOY OS. Also they use an extremely low quality mp3 variant and the video codec is an outdated AVI (RLE)You can however take the thing apart and play with the files on the internal SD Card. Just search for videos on the web on how.In my opinion, this is an overweight toy with limited functionality.It does have a radio and a clock. My phone has that too and more.This also plays pre-rendered Fallout style nonsense where 99% of it is useless video and audio SFXAgain, A "clock" No personal video, no personal audio and no reason why not.I am reminded of my youth when I would go to a Star Trek convention and you would have all these props for sale that do nothing and cost a fortune. Fanboys will pay anything and that is all I see here.I believe this could have been a really cool product but it is mostly eye candy that I would not wear around a convention for any length of time because my arm would hurt due to the unnecessary weight.I plan on hacking this thing, putting in my own OS and if I ever buy a 3D printer I would keep the cuff and print my own housing.I feel they missed the mark on this one and all of this is opinion anyway. Maybe you do not mind spending a small fortune for a toy with outdated features where the expense seems have gone to the look, feel and license of the product.If I am wrong then I am wrong but it's a Pipboy. You want one so your going to get it anyway.All of this is "my" opinion, you may have a different experience.

It took a while to arrive, but it was worth the wait. Looks and feels very good, all metal. The radio, after updating the Pip-Boy, seems to work better, but I still can't get all the stations I can get in my car. . Overall happy with the purchase and would recommend this product.
