Nice tasting herbal tea
This sea buckthorn tea comes in a sturdy, resealable bag to help keep the tea fresh, though the listing does recommend decanting it into another sealed container once opened. Although it’s only 100g, the plant material is quite light as this is a big bag of tea that will last for ages.On opening the packet the contents are quite strong smelling, a musty plant scent punctuated with the fruitiness of the berries, it’s quite pleasant. Very easy to make, but you will need some kind of tea infuser as the tea is loose and needs a container while you’re brewing. I drink a lot of loose leaf teas of various types, so have a mug with a removable strainer which is perfect for this kind of cuppa.Leave yourself plenty of time to make this as it does have an unusually long brewing time at 5 to 15 minutes, so not the kind of drink you can make quickly on the run. However, nice for when you are able to take your time and sit down to enjoy it properly, which is the best way to drink any kind of tea in my opinion!Once you pour the water on it, it does actually lose a lot of the plant scent and is quite fruity smelling - very pretty with the bright orange berries floating around as well. I drank this without milk or anything added as there is no bitterness at all, it’s a smooth, mild, slightly fruity tasting tea. I know not everyone will like it and don’t buy this thinking it’s a swap out for normal black tea – it isn’t.There is nothing in it that will give you the same hit as a cup of normal tea. However, if you are looking for a pleasant tasting, no caffeine tea and are accustomed to or open to trying a herb tea with the expectation that it is an altogether different kind of drink, then I would recommend this. I will be drinking the rest of the bag and may buy some more as I really rather like it and with all the health benefits what’s not to like?!

Decent alternative to traditional tea
Can be rather weak if you don't use enough, but everyone will have their own taste. It's a bit woody with a touch of berry. Brews up nicely and you et quite a lot in a bag, so if you're like me and only have a cup or two of tea a day, it'll last a fair while.

Nutty-tasting, caffeine-free tea
I ordered this Siberian Green Sea Buckthorn Tea because it's caffeine-free and I wanted something different. It contains leaves and berries, althoughI haven't found any of the berries yet, but the leaves are good with no dust. It's a 100g resealable bag of pure hippophae (sea buckthorn) tea.The nutty and woody taste reminded me of genmaicha tea but it's drier and there's no caffeine. I used a teaspoon of tea in my tea infuser mug, left it to steep for about 5 minutes and it easily serves 3 good-sized mugs. There are certain conditions where sea blackthorn isn't recommended, just check before ordering but it's a good cup of tea, albeit quite drying. 4*

Sea Buckthorn Tea - loose, mild, tasty.
Upon first smell, this tea is grassy and woody. The taste whoever isn’t particularly grassy, it’s very similar to regular black tea, a refreshing clear taste, nothing particularly distinctive. There is a slight hint of something tart/berry-ish on the aftertaste. It tea brews to a medium to darker amber/brown. You do need a teapot, diffuser, or one of those little tea moons however, since it’s loose, not in bags.According to the internet, Sea Buckthorn tea is good for, well, pretty much everything. I’m familiar with it in skincare, but this is the first time I’ve tried it internally. This is a very decently sized packet, so will last for a long time. It’s a lovely after dinner tea (it has digestive properties) and a great evening/bedtime tea.

Not What I Was Expecting!
I wasn't expecting this. But to me, this is like tea lite, caffeine-free edition. By that, I mean that it has a bit of a tea taste, which for me is a big win, as it's caffeine free. That said, I drink it black, and it still tastes like half a cuppa with milk to me.Recommended if you want to skip the caffeine. Which I do. Well, most of the time!

Good tea
If you pardon the pun.... This isnt everyones cup of tea but Im a fan and really like the taste. Takes a while to brew properly but I think its worth the wait. Not bad value either.

great alternative to other herbal teas.
decent quality tea. A healthy herbal alternative to traditional herbal tea selections.generous amount per bag. Easy to brew. And tastes good on its own or with honey. Very healthy free from nasties.
