Favorite Christmas gift for two boys!
The media could not be loaded. My 12-year-old and 9-year-old LOVE these lightsabers. They've had others over the years, including the Disney store ones (though not the Galaxy's Edge custom built ones yet). These are GREAT. Love the colors it can change to, love the flashes of light when you strike something, love the variety of sounds and voices! Only thing missing is that it doesn't have haptic vibrations when you strike something (though it kind of feels like it because of the flash of light and sound!)The sabers aren't super long so they're perfect for kids and work well even when you go with the double blade look like in the video nBe careful when you open the package that you don't dispose of the tiny screws! Both lightsabers come packed in a single box, so if you're gifting separately you'd need to find a different box. I just labeled it as a gift for both boys and they still play with them daily.

Saber review
They work as described and meet expectations. It is hard to get them to change color. Still fun.

Great Product, easy to use, awesome customer service
This is an update to a 2* review I had posted a few days ago: The sabers were very quick and easy to assemble and came with everything needed to get them up and running. I had thought my speakers had blown out within a few hours of use not realising that the sound profile had been switched, when I posted the review and my problem the company reached out to me and helped me figure out what the problem was very quickly. Highly recommended to anyone looking to grab some dueling lightsabers for themselves at a fair price!

“Big hit for 12 year old son”
Ever since my son saw “Star Wars,” he decided to save for a light saber. We did our research and decided on these particular light sabers. My son was thrilled when they arrived and started using them right away. When his friends come over, they too have a blast with the light sabers. My son loves the sounds that it makes and the different colors. Unfortunately after 2 months, the sound stopped working. I reached out to the company and within 2 days they got back to me. They helped me troubleshoot the problem and made recommendations to see if the light saber would work again. It didn’t, so they’re sending my son 2 brand new light sabers. My son is so happy. Great customer service and company. I would definitely buy from them again. Thank you.

Good light saber but not very user friendly
My son loves this light saber but it is not very user friendly. For instance sometimes the sound turns off and it’s hard to turn it back on even after watching videos on how to do it. Otherwise he loves that you can connect them and that they change colors and have sounds

Ok for the price
The smooth swing and sound could be a lot better. A slow twist of the wrist doesn't activate smooth swing. It takes quite a bit of movement for it to react and then it just cuts out in the middle of a swing. The saber hum is also just ok. The volume is a little bit low even on max volume and the quality of the speaker diminishes the experience a bit.The hilts are decent and has a decent balance by themselves yet slightly heavier at the tip. The overall athletics are good. The anodization is a nice black and overall construction is good. Nitpicking on these those is that when you put the two together the saber tips don't line up like they do in the photos. So the clocking is incorrect when connected in staff form. My only concern with these being marketed towards kids is that the tip of the hilts can be sharp. If they had a chamfer at the tips to make it less sharp it'd be better. So keep the blades attached if using with kids. The blade connection is decent from what I've seen from other suppliers. There are three fasteners that hold the blade in. Two of them are at a decent point to hold the blade. The last one is a little bit down the hilt if not by design it places the point of the fastener near the end of the blade which through long term use or for could start cracking from that point. If that point was a half inch to inch higher it could mitigate stress on the blade possibly reducing cracks in that area over long term use.The blade is the standard 1 inch wide. The thickness of the material is not much more from what I've seen with thinner blades but the 1 inch does add some rigid strength to the overall blade though short since these are more geared towards kids.Changing the settings on these can be a little clunky. The instructions are a little clunky in wording which could be mitigated by having the functions on a graph. But once you understand how to work these it becomes easier. You basically have different functions if the blade is on or off and have to hold the button in to watch for it to blink and then let go at certain number of blinks to reach certain settings. For the price it could be a bit better. I would suggest a different product unless the price drops more for this. The sabers are only good for the light-up effects and possibly the hum. All the issue related to this could be overlooked by kids wow factor of having their own saber. This is only good for possibly a stunt saber except that the balance gets very blade heavy if not wielding as a staff. There would need to be more counterbalance in the hilt to make the balance more neutral.
