Geodisc Phono Cartridge Alignment Tool

Great Product, Absolutely Amazing When Paired with A Laser Level
I love my Geo-Disc. I own multiple turntables, and it has paid for itself over and over again. After trying lots of methods and tools over the years I haven't found anything that is better or easier. Yes, it's expensive. Like any worthwhile item, the enjoyment of it's quality lingers long after the initial price is forgotten. It can also save you huge amounts of time, and time is money. If there is one Achilles heel to the Geo-Disc it's that it relies on eyesight for the initial alignment. If you get that wrong all of the settings are going to be sub-optimal. I have found that the key to incredible accuracy with the Geo-Disc is to use a laser level for the initial alignment of the Geo-Disc and also for the final alignment of the cartridge and stylus arm. This is the easiest, the fastest and the most accurate method I have found. The downside is the cost of the Geo-Disc and a laser level.I already had a laser level (an older PLS2) that I use for my occupation. If you already own one you may find that matching it with a Geo-Disc makes a really nice alignment tool combo. Also, very basic laser levels can be purchased cheaply on Amazon and other outlets, but I can't speak to their accuracy or efficacy for this job. My PLS2 is great as just sits on the plinth or I make a little "tower" out of whatever's laying around for it to sit just off to the side of the turntable I'm working on.

Expensive
This piece of plastic disk is very expensive.OK I get my cardridge fine tuned but there are cheaper ways. Would I buy it again if it was a product that gets bad, I wouldn't.
