I would say my title says it all. This Bruder garbage truck is definitely 100% the holy Grail of all garbage truck toys. The compactor is amazing and it is quite large. The grabber movement is an absolute 10 favorites because the grabber arm does come out like a garbage truck it hooks onto the can pulls it back in and you can twist to dump the trash. My child is absolutely in love with the garbage can and the garbage truck. I love that it is quite realistic as possible to real life grab her garbage cans. What it also really like is that the arm is very sturdy and it does function with not just the garbage cans it comes with but also other garbage cans that have the capability to be hooked.If you have a garbage truck fan lover, this is definitely the gift to purchase for them.

Bought this off as a present for my 3 years old birthday as he’s been asking for garbage toy truck for a long time. We bought him a small tonka green waste truck awhile back, but on the tonka, the back gate does not open and he always asked me to open the door 😊Anyway, this truck is massive, very sturdy, no sharp protrusion, well built, definitely worth the money spent, it is a bit on the expensive side. He’s been playing on it is non-stop. The truck comes with 2 trash cans (blue and yellow). It does not have sound but I installed the light and sound kit, but now it sounds like a police car 😊 😊I also added the rear side loading into this truck, now he has side loading and rear loading on the same truck 😊, he is so excited when I put in the rear loading. You can buy the kit for the rear loading and install it as it should fit, need to snap of 2 small plastic pieces inside to ensure the backdoor support fits to add the rear loading.

This toy is a huge hit with my son. Since the minute he got it, it has been a major focus of his attention. (He is sleeping with it as I write this). It is big, sturdy and attractive. Yes, it is plastic, but is very well built, with excellent detail and several moving parts to keep sharing children busy for hours.The truck's side-loading mechanism attaches easily to the garbage cans. (We ordered the extra set, which makes for a longer garbage route.) Using a knob, the cans lift up and the contents are dumped into the bin. The "trash" is then moved to the rear of the truck by a spinning "compactor". Trash can be anything from paper scraps to plastic checker pieces. Then, the truck's rear can be lifted up, the back door opened, and the trash can be dumped out. The cab also lifts up to show the engine. It is really well designed.The only drawback is that the cab doors do not open, so it is difficult to put anyone in the driver's seat. That said, it is highly recommended. I will definitely buy another Bruder product in the future.

My 4 year old grandson loves to watch when the real garbage truck comes, so we thought this would be a great gift for him for Christmas. The Bruder toys are made very well with a lot of attention to detail. I refuse to buy the cheap trucks at the toy stores where the doors don't open, the materials are cheap and there isn't much you can do other than push them around. We bought a Bruder man figure for him to put in the truck. He loves that too. The garbage cans lift up to dump, the trash compacts and the doors open...all the things that are fun for kids. Money well spent. I much rather spend more and get a toy that is going to last and has the fun factor with all that it can do. Too many toys are made with such low quality now. It's nice that there are still toy companies who don't cut corners. His parents also bought him a book about garbage trucks to go along with it, which is a nice extra for him.

Great Truck!! It is really durable, very detailed and realistic-looking. Highly recommend to all of you folks. Definitely worth the money. One problem is the bins don't lift fast enough and sometimes the refuse spills out. But is still worth it! My son has this and the MAN TGA breakdown truck w/ cross country vehicle. He's asking for the MACK Granite rear lifting garbage truck for Christmas, and can't wait to get it!Have always been pleased with the quality of Bruder trucks!

My son loved getting this gift. Even as a typical vehicle loving 3 y/o boy, this has been his most played with toy since he got it. Then again, since he was able to walk he's been one to jump out of bed and plead to go watch the garbage/recycling truck come by and pick up our curbside bins.The body of the truck is well built. At first I was hesitant to spend the asking price for a plastic toy truck but the quality is better than just about any plastic toy I've ever seen. It even has a natural play in how the body and chassis sit together, and after about 6 months of playing with it, all the moving parts still snap into place and move smoothly like day one, The internal "processing" of the trash that gets dumped in the top is just a simple pair of screw shafts but it pushes your trash to the rear like magic. We only use old paper scraps for our play material...literally some left over wrapping paper, and our son loves continually dumping it out, gathering it into the bins, picking up and dumping into the truck, process with the hand crank and dump out the back again. FWIW the doors don't open nor does the steering wheel turn the front wheels but that's not a model car type feature I was expecting.Gotta mention once more how good the quality of the plastic material and the perfect form and finish of the molded pieces are with this truck.
