I purchased this product recently, and it is a very good portable kettle. It is easy to use, and heats up water in three minutes. If you want water to be boiling then it takes six minutes. It has a plug, so it is good for travelling. It also has a one year guarantee. I would definitely purchase this again. It is also very quiet, unlike a traditional kettle and produces less steam. I also like the mint green colour. It is the size of a travel cup, but just a bit bigger.

I like this product. It feels solid and well-made.I actually bought it as a replacement for a different product - which developed a hazardous fault with not shutting itself off when water boiled and which Amazon rightly agreed to take-back and refund in-full.This replacement is a little bigger, with slightly greater capacity, which. Is helpful, and the shut-off when water boils is much more prompt. I hope it stays that way.So far, so good.

I spent HOURS looking for the right kettle for my car and a big concern I had, was that the on/off button, and the lead would be in the right place so that the kettle could comfortably sit in my car cup holder whilst being plugged in with the button accessible, and without being affected by the cup holder case. I had concerns about this as cars/driving/hot water/electric/space could have risks. I was soooo pleased with this and so glad I didn't order the cheaper ones with questionable reviews. The reason it all works is that the button is in a good place, the cable doesn't present any problems in my (average sized) cup holder and it's 'just' the right size.Also, having used it many times there's NO metallic taste to the water after. Just make sure to give it a good wipe as I have hard water and scales will start to build up quite quickly. Would definitely recommend this product. You'll get a good cup and a half or two small cups of hot water out of it, and I wouldn't expect more out of a car kettle - I didn't want a big huge one. Overall thrilled to have this and really glad to have it as you just don't know what can happen whilst driving in the winter and it encourages me to drink more - I like hot drinks.

I did write a good review before but sadly I have been conned. After 6 months of use, the switch broke and would not set to the "on" state. Asked the supplier and they kindly replaced it with another. However the replacement suffered the same fate but this time only after the first use. So the switch issue seems common for this product. If you are going to buy then expect it to last no more than 6 months.

I purchased the 500ml kettle /cup for hotel stays. It's pretty light weight and will take hardly any room up in a regular hold suitcase. I'm glad I purchased the 500ml as its large enough to boil 2 cups (not mugs) of hot water. It takes around 3 to 4 minutes to boil and noise while boiling is minimal. I love the green colour.Make sure you clean the inside first as there is black stainless steal residue. A good buy around.

I purchased this item as a perfect option to take away on a trip where the hotel doesn’t have a kettle in the room as it doubles up as a kettle and cupThe first time I used it the item worked flawlessly, unfortunately every use after that it wouldn’t automatically switch off once it had finished boiling, so would continue to boil resulting in the water spilling out everywhere.The only way you could use it safely would be to ensure you’re next to it as it comes to a boil so you can quickly turn it off at the mains to prevent it from over boiling.If they could fix that very Important issue it would be a fantastic item, but for now I’ll revert back to taking a standalone travel kettle & separate mug on future trips

We bought this portable kettle for a long trip with our toddler who still drinks formula milk. It would be more hygienic than using hotel kettles, who knows when it was last cleaned (if ever). It's compact and 1 full kettle (about 300ml) is more than enough to make up a bottle.We didn't expect to use it for us grown-ups as well. We trust this little kettle to be hygienic to boil water for our teas and coffees. There's no leakage, and the outer casing doesn't get hot. Just remember to open the flap on the lid before you boil the water so the steam can get out.This turned out to be our best purchase for our holiday. We will be using this kettle again for future holidays, even when our toddler grows out of drinking formula milk.
