Let me clarify for you the simplest points: Comfortable - check.Quality - checkValue - checkIt’s an easy buy for range day!Now, these are NOT electronic, but that also means they have a slightly higher NRR than lots of the electonic ones that are gonna be any sort of reasonable price. This is a good thing! We love a high NRR because I want to be able to hear by grandkids begging for more cookies I sneak them when their parents aren’t looking. If I blow my ears out because I had a garbage pair of ear protection, then how am I supposed to be the ‘fun grandparent’, huh?I think the scenario to best put these to use is a controlled range setting where you know once you’re done shooting, you can take them off. They work so well that it makes conversations with those around you difficult. If you’re looking for a public range setting where you can talk to you pal while homeboy in lane 6 is blasting his AR, then electronic ears will probably work better for you. Zohan has a good set of two for an affordable price. I also reviewed those - they are great for indoor.Anyyyways. These work fantastically and are better for setting where you can control when the loud noises happen. They look fine. If you’re going for style and looks, then maybe find a different hobby because I think you’d really enjoy scrapbooking. These are an easy bring-along for range day out in the woods or even just for muffling the cries of a temper tantrum in your house (or perhaps some *rambuncious* neighbors, shall we say?). Point is: sound hitting these puppies ain’t gonna wreck your eardrums.Stay safe out there kids!And be the fun grandparent! (And parent too, for that matter.)
