Kingston DataTraveler SE9 Gen 3-512GB - 220MB/s Reading - Metal USB Stick 3.2 Gen 1 - Gold

I bought 2 of them, the first one kept freezing my PC and the sequential write speeds when it worked briefly were around 240 MB/S but the random Read/Write was horrible, only 1MB/S which is slower than a 20 year old 5400 RPM HDD. Then after a few minutes the USB drive just became write protected on its own. I thought it was just a faulty USB so I opened the second box to try out the other one but same result, these are absolute junk
