Paleovalley Wild Caught Fish Roe

I haven’t been this excited about a supplement in a long time! My sleep had been awful this pregnancy- I was exhausted but could not fall asleep. I was taking my omegas but I was out and had recently read pretty good reviews on this whole food freeze dried fish roe. (Some said it helped their sleep) I liked the idea of getting my omegas from a whole food instead of an oil so I made the switch! I’m so grateful I found this- my sleep changed the first night I used it! I woke up that morning thinking what did I do different. This was it! I was so hopeful that it would be the same the next night. It was. I’ve been so happy with my purchase. They had a sale of buy one get one free on their website right after I bought mine. I wish I would have gone ahead and bought extra- darn. But it’s okay it’s totally worth the money to get good sleep! If anyone is struggling I hope it helps you too!

I trust paleo valley quality. Would be good to know if this has been heavy metal tested since fish can be a source of this.

🚨🚨🚨🚨 don’t believe the high from the advertising. I don’t see any difference in my health exceptDefinitely getting fish burps from this stuff and I actually felt like I was going to vomit. There was also a weird fiber in the capsule. Check the picture.

i’m glad i got these fish roe capsules. i’ve been taking these for 2 months, and i haven’t noticed any good or bad effects. i have not been taking the full dose, which is 6 capsules a day; i’ve only taken 1 or 2 most days. these are rather large capsules, which i don’t find easy to swallow. i’m hit with the fishy smell when i open the bottle, but i don’t taste it, so i don’t find it problematic. i like that the only ingredients are fish roe and gelatin capsule. this is currently listed for $50 for 168 capsules, which is a 28-day supply. considering the price and my difficulty taking this, it’s not a product for me; but it might be good for some. i like eating fish roe (with sushi rice), and i can buy 3oz of it for $10.nutritional content: i emailed paleovalley to ask about the nutritional content and certificate of analysis. they replied with the info in a few days, but the coa was not from a 3rd party. as expected, it showed negligible microbial and heavy metal content. if you’re curious as i was about the nutritional content, this is what i was told:“With whole food products, amounts can vary slightly from batch to batch...Per 3600 mg (6 capsule)= 1 serving:118.8 mg DHA42.48 mg EPA14.76 mg DPA741.96 mg Total FAVitamin D3 - 809 IU (international unit)/100g sampleSelenium - 1.586 ppm (per 100g sample)Vitamin C - 34.4mg/100g sampleNo testing data for Vitamin A or E at this time.”my thoughts: they didn’t print it because it looks pretty low in everything. even though it’s low, this is a concentrated whole food, so likely better absorbed than supplements that only contain some of these things in possibly different forms. as a whole food, it may contain things we don’t yet know about that make it beneficial. this has DPA, which is a type of omega3 that isn’t in most supplements because it gets destroyed in some part of processing. i can’t figure out what total FA is; i’m guessing total fatty acids, but could not find what fatty acids are in fish other than omega3s.

I took this for a week and the first night I sleep so good and woke up very refreshed. I thought maybe it was a coincidence. The whole week I took it, I slept like a dream, had a calm mind, and had better output during workout. I decided to switch to a high quality fish oil for a week to see if it gave me the same effect and it didn't.I started taking this product again and within 30 minutes felt the benefits from the first time I took it. I would love to know what exactly it is that's benefitting me because it's awesome!I'll come back for an update my review if my feelings change.
