It works
It really works at holding things for soldering. I had a different helping hands that was plastic and fell apart so easy. It was just junk. This one works great and stays together. The magnets are really strong.

Excellent quality!
The metal is very solid and the magnets are very powerful. Bending the clamps can be a little tedious sometimes but its much better than asking my wife to hold the board at a certain angle. I've dripped solder on the base and it rapidly cools and doesn't stick to it and can just be picked up and thrown away. Very good quality and would recommend this to anyone.

Well made product and very functional
Good quality clips and heavy duty magnetic base. Strong magnets on each of the arm bases. The only complaint I have so far is the fact that when the arms are bent almost in half, they tend to spring back farther than one would think. Probably a result of the thickness and quality of the arm itself. The base is a decent size, but ideally you could put the 4 arms on a magnetic table and spread them out a bit for the best holding situations. I will probably try that setup next. Quality is well worth the price.

Overall great for what it is without all the extra rigamarole and r
So I got to stay overall I like this The plate is just a hair wider than others. The magnets are super strong and the clips appear to be slightly better quality than your typical Chinese products. Obviously this is brand new to me so it's still works.I just wish it was a little bit bigger than it is although this is bigger than most. You always see pictures of these where they have some tiny little piece of jewelry or a PCB board the size of a fingernail. Personally I like to work on older equipment where the PCB boards are larger. I posted some pictures with an old Atari board from 1979, and it holds it up. Again the quality is great especially for the money. I also like this because it doesn't have all the other garbage on it It's just the arms and the plate. Quite frankly I don't care about all the magnifiers, lights irons and anything else they can try to put on here it becomes more clutter that you don't need in my opinion.

Helping Hands
So I received this yesterday and used it immediately. The item support arms have very strong magnets which is good. I found that the four arms are if two different lengths which might become handy. They are stiff which might present a challenge in some cases but learning how best to utilize them for the needed function will take time. The soft rubber alligator tips are quite soft which might or might not be good in some cases. They do come off and a spare set is included. Overall, it does what it’s supposed to do so for my needs, it helps a lot as in holding led strips for soldering/repair.

Strong Magnets!
This is great for what I needed, my only negative is that the arms don’t always stay bent to exactly where I put them. I am using this to glue tiny pieces together so I improvised by using the smaller arms to hold the larger arms exactly where I need them.

Helping hands
Wish I would have bought one sooner as I only solder things from time to time. Made the small things easier.
