Great for advanced Japanese learners!
This book series is not beginner friendly, soo if you are just starting I suggest you look for other books. But these books are amazing for those who already advanced in the Japanese language.

Excellent intermediate Japanese learning textbook
Excellent intermediate Japanese text for learning. The Minna No Nihongo approach, which emphasizes patterns and working with filling in patterns, is very good, and forces you to get out of the "memorization" phase one frequently gets trapped in. It is an intermediate to advanced text, so definitely NOT for beginners.

You will need the translation notes
The content is very good, really helpful but you need to look for the notes in order to get a proper explanation for every unit
