This gets a 5-star for the cost, functionality, and overall look.Pros:Arrived quickly.Well packaged.Easy to put together.Love the remote, on/off foot switch, range of tone and brightness options of the bulb, and overall look and size (the tall slim look is just what I needed).Cons:The lamp is lightweight (but reasonably sturdy) - might tip easily if bumped.The finishes are not high-end, but it doesn't look obviously "cheap".The bottom of the lamp is hollow and does not have a finished bottom - a few rubber stick on pads, or a rubber or felt sheet that closed off the bottom would have been a nice adder. I may do this myself.Overall very happy with the purchase, price, and size - functional and works well in my rather small living room. Would also be good as an accent lamp in a larger living room. I may buy a second one.

Easy assembly, does the trick and looks better than the plain single bulb lamp you’d get at Walmart or IKEA for similar pricing. Decent quality and good brightness!

I’ve been wanting to replace my table lamps with standing lamps for a while (to change up some family room decor and to release some side table real estate). Saw this and decided to give it a try. It is exactly as described and works perfectly. Comes with all parts very nicely and securely packaged. The shade is a roll up one that you unroll and attach to small metal brackets on the 2 metal frames. Comes with remote, batteries for the remote, and bulb; can adjust light settings to three different shades and multiple strengths. There is a step button to turn it on/off. Per another reviewer, if you use the remote, make sure the step button is on for the remote to work. The lamp can also be turn on/off with the remote. The bottom piece is quite light so the lamp can be prone to fall over if bumped into; I stuck some magnets underneath as there is space to do it and that helped with stability; just make sure the magnets aren’t too big as to go beyond the flat surface. The shade I got did come a bit dented and I wasn’t able to make the dents go away which took away from the clean line aesthetic. I emailed the seller and they initially sent me a video showing me how to try to fix it. When that didn’t work, I emailed back asking if they can send me a replacement shade and they sent me a whole new lamp with a perfect shade without me having to send the purchased one back! That is awesome customer service.If you do get it, I recommend first unpacking the shade to see if it is in good condition, then make sure the light works, before you go about setting it up. Set up is super easy, just screwing rods and ends together. Each remote works with its own lamp; it would be nice if one remote works with both lamps but that’s just a minor thing. I highly recommend this lamp.

I really want to love this lamp! only con is the base doesn't feel secure at all. i have to constantly keep fixing the lamp so it's not tilted. haven't seen anyone else really say anything about that so maybe mine is just defective. i really love all the light modes and everything about it though. they even included a light bulb and batteries for the remote :)

For a $30 lamp, this is a better quality than I expected. Lots of different brightness settings. I'm sure you'll find one that you like and suits the room. The remote is very convenient and easy to use. Comes with batteries and a light bulb. The lamp shade is a not going to last. But that's easily replaced.

Just received today. Love all the lighting features!! Pretty easy to put together once you figure out the shade. I bought 2 for living room. May get another for my bedroom with silver finish. Just found out remote is magnetic from reading other reviews.

This is great buy for anyone that wants a floor lamp with a dimmer switch feature. It has a remote with many cool features and it is great addition to any room. I wouldn't mind buying another one for my spare bedroom. Best feature of all is that the remote is magnetic so you can still it right on the neck of lamp or any magnetic surface and never worry where the remote is at. You can even turn on the lamp with a foot switch at the base or use the remote control. You won't regret getting this lamp.

This lamp is a good value for the price. It is not going to last for decades but is durable enough for now. I like the fact that you can change the color temperature to your preference. We have some lighting on the ceiling we use and we needed something supplementary to help light up the room. It provides an adequate amount for what we need. The lamp is a very clean classic look. It doesn’t take up much room and is perfect to slide next to a couch or chair. Putting it together wasn’t very hard, it took about 10 minutes total.
