Cheap and no issues if you need a replacement
It’s perfect. Installed it. Customer was happy. This was the cheapest I found online and glad it was a good genuine part.

It doesn't leak
Thankful it works. Installed original 30 yrs ago and it was worn out.Be careful not to over tighten base plate or it will be hard to turn knob.If it leaks re-adjust the off position until it stops leaking. Don't think the presentDay valves are as well built.

Did NOT come with the pictured nylon bushing or rubber o-ring!I called Grohe and they were kind enough to Fed-Ex a replacement part with the nylon bushing and rubber o-ring included (have not received it to confirm yet) but they said they were doing so as a good-will gesture and normally don't warranty parts. I didn't know what this meant, since they're the ones who sent a part with missing components they said were included in the first place... Also, if you read the Q&A here on Amazon, Grohe's response to the question of whether or not this TEMPRESS II cover comes with seals and o-ring included is yes, but this one didn't. Also, parts of the brass mating surface that should be smooth are dented and jagged.

No longer plastic, now metal but stop point has moved and stop arm will not contact
Just a heads up, it appears grohe has goon to replacing the original plastic covers w/metal. (assume the plastic stop points are breaking) Problem is the stop point is in the wrong place and the stop arm does not contact it. I now have to manufacture a washer and glue to stop arm since not long enough. Unfortunately there is no way to contact grohe mfg. to let them know.

Fit well, but it still leaked out of the 1/4” center hole . The 22 year old one leaked the same way
I used it to replace a 22 year old one that leaked- it did not stop the leak.
