Bath made easy
Use for every single bath to keep water out of my baby’s eyes. She loves it, I love it. Thankful it works so well. You can use it either way the bill up or down. Personally we like up better because then the water falls to the back of her. It stays on so well and has adjustable fit to fit any size head. We have used for almost. A year now and it still holds up great

GREAT BATHING CAP WHEN PUT ON PROPERLY: Wonderful for my 11-year old special needs daughter
Purchased this bathing visor on a whim, because I liked the color and it was inexpensive. Like so many products I purchase for my special needs daughter, I was sure I would have to purchase multiple models from many manufacturers. My 11-year special needs daughter loves bath time, however hates water in her eyes. Needless to say, shampoo in her eyes leads to unnecessary drama in the tub and can quickly lead to tears. To my great surprise, it works great with a few caveats.1) My daughter is a 145lbs and has a very large head - the cap's adjustable strap will fit head much larger than hers and vice versa, I tighten the cap to the 5th hole from the end2) Make sure you are putting the cap on curve side up per manufacturer instructions)3) Like many kids, my daughter can get fussy when I mess around with her hair and head, so I trialed the cap before we even tried it in the tub4) Figure out what is the best fitting for the adjustable strap, preferably before you even enter the bathroom, on dry land! I made the mistake of trying to tighten after she was in the tub. This did not go well!5) For kids with long hair, I might suggest doing a quick high pony or clip hair on top of head6) Go tighter than you think is comfortable. I know, as a mother, I didn't want to hurt my daughter, especially since she has such highly sensitive skin and is generally exceptionally sensitive around her head, however trust me, it is so much worse if the strap is not adjusted tight enough. The strap itself is a little difficult to hook into the hole especially with a child that has a lot of hair and does not sit still, the biggest issue for us is hair getting in the way and stray hair getting pulls. The strap itself actually has some stretch, so if you don't tighten appropriately, it will definitely loosen up and allow water to infiltrate. After the first two trials in water, and water in the eyes, I tightened by two notches and that did the trick. No more tears. If you are at all worried as a parent that the strap is too tight, trial it on yourself. You will see that even when strapped tight are no residual skin impressions post bath.7) Make sure to center the cap and that ears are free and clear. I believe that for most kids, even adolescents, the caps should protect their ears - however this may vary from child to child.8) My daughter wears glasses 24/7 with a strap, which she wears even while bathing. As we have found that we can still use the bathing cap with the glasses and strap. We just make sure her hair is placed loosely up on top of her head and make sure the arms of the glasses are neatly tucked under the cap (this does take some finessing) and the straps of the glasses remain below/outside of the cap.9) We have now used for a few months for every bath; no mold, no grimy build up. We hang on a hook for air-drying in the shower/tub between uses. No maintenance!10) I now have very happy daughter who now has clean hair all the way to her forehead and enjoys having cups of water dumped on her head without fear of shampoo and water getting into her eyes. Definitely a win for us!

Really hard to put on
It’s really hard to put on. The nice it’s on, it works, but if your kid hates it, there’s no point. I have a 1 yr old and a 10 month old and the entire bath time, I’m fighting them both to keep the hat on. It was exhausting, so I don’t even use it anymore.

Hard to put on
My 3 year old was patient with me putting it on the first time...2 year old not so much. It took several tries to get it on right. When you do get it on it works wonderful keeping water away from face and ears! The grip is so grippy is what makes it hard to adjust the fit and getting it on their head. Hoping practice will make it easier and faster to get adjusted on their head

Loved it
My son had eye surgery. This was perfect when it came to bathing him.

Does really stay
I don’t know if it’s the way I put it on my child’s head or what but it still slides down and I end of getting water all in his face. Luckily, he likes water but I get nervous about soap in his eyes. Anywho.. it’s a no for me.

Does not work
Do not think you can figure out a way to make this thing work. The only thing you will end up doing is upsetting the child and frustrating yourself. It is pretty much useless and I hate saying that, but it truly is.

Definitely worth the purchase! Works like magic!
We ordered 2 other visors on Amazon and neither one of them kept water & soap out of our grandson's eyes. This Nuby cap was a PERFECT fit! Not too tight, easy to put on when he's in his bathtub, and doesn't leave any marks on his head. The water does enter his forehead or ears at all. He is protected and enjoys bath time a lot more now. I recommend this product to any new parents. It's a life saver to not worry about water or suds going into your infants ears, eyes, or having them catch their breath.
