Beautiful, bought twice, but second had quality issues
I ordered this twice. First time was for a gift, so she stayed in the box, but she looked great. Although the box itself was a bit crushed as they deliver it in a paper bag. Second time I ordered it for myself, box even more crushed.I really like this facial mold, the skin tone and overall I think she is a rare kind of Barbie (now I own 3/4 from this specific Made to Move series). The face paint is unfortunately a little too shiny/glittery and many people say it's pixelated, not sure that is the issue but it is different from the other dolls in the series, and too reflective. Now come the quality issues: for the second doll I bought I could unfortunately see when she was still in the box that she had a 2 mm stain (like glue maybe) next to her eye. When I took her out, I had another big problem, a lot of hair immediately fell off, not being properly attached to the scalp. Luckily she had plenty and also it was cut pretty evenly, so after throwing away a handful of hair she still looks okay. Finally her joints were a bit loose for a brand new doll. I know there's variability in dolls due to the fabrication process, but I would say this is probably the one with most issues that I bought, and maybe it should not have passed factory quality checks. I would advise others to simply return and replace in this case, but for me it was not worth doing as it was an international order.
