The first thing that you notice about the packaging is that it is very well packaged. The next is that you will absolutely love the feel of this microplane.The handle is a rubberised plastic, which gives an amazing grip while the entire blade surface is stailess steel. It feels solid in your hands giving you the confidence to grate or zest without the fear of it breaking and you cutting yourself.The blades are very sharp, they grate and zest with ease. However, they don't cut into your skin immediately, but those with long nails, be careful!This microplane grates ginger, garlic very very fine, almost like a pulp which is amazing and helps to bring out all the flavors.It is very easy to clean as well, a simple rinse under the tap after you use it is all it takes, unless you use it for garlic, you don't even have to use soap, garlic smells that's the only reason you may need soap.The blade is quite long and wide so it gets the job done very efficiently without you needing to go back and forth multiple times. The blade cover is very useful to prevent any accidents while it also helps to preserve the sharp cutting edges!Overall, I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking for a handy microplane or zester which is much easier to clean and use when you have to grate small quantities it avoids the hassle of the big ones!

I think that Amazon conveniently bypasses information on country of origin of a product when it is from PRC. It is not a good policy on the part of Amazon, it betrays the trust of the buyer. The product is not the best but OK.
