I did for a week or so it did rain water got in the polls but they are suppose to be aluminum so no problem there. The only thing is the net tensor that is not aluminum and can rust.

Q: The line that runs through the top of the neat is it steel?

The top is high strength nylon rope, because the volleyball net set needs to be disassembled frequently, when using iron steel wire, the wire will be bent and deformed and burr after repeated use, which will affect the subsequent use, so we use rigid nylon rope, which is more convenient and safer to use.
