Well yeah, if you actually looked at the dimensions in the description: Overall size:17"(L) x 9.5"(W) x 11"(H) ... You could probably even fit two more laptops, another water bottle, some other odds and ends and that is just in the central main compartment, then you have the many outside pockets to add more stuff.

Q: can i stick a 3" dia bottle in the long end pocket? even if i have to distort the bag a little to get it to fit?

Hi there, If you are talking about the outside end pockets, then no, I think so. I am using the bag as a camera bag and my external flash unit fits nicely in there and its about 1,5 inches thick and 2 inches wide. There is a bit room on the sides of the flash unit, so I recon it could fit your bottle, snugly though. cheers Teresa
