I bought this chain because it was advertised as solid 925 sterling silver, made in Italy. After about a year of light use, it has developed a copper color and is attracted to a magnet – both clear signs that this is not real sterling silver.Authentic 925 silver does not change color to copper and is not magnetic. This suggests that the chain is either silver-plated or made from a different base metal entirely. Very disappointing, as I trusted the description and expected much higher quality.This product is misleading, and I feel deceived.Do not recommend if you’re looking for real silver jewelry.

Update: they replaced it with one that sits perfectly!Last years was better. This one has a bit of a curve to it so I'm still tryna figure out how to clasp it so it lays flat. The last one I got from them (same product, diff year) I just held one end and smoothed it down to the other end and then clasped it and it laid flat. This one seems like it was designed to be clasped a specific way to lay with your neck's curve and curved so someone else has to clasp it for you to not kink up on itself.
