I've been frustrated with a lot of hearing aids I've purchased here because they are designed for people with moderate hearing loss, and my dad has severe hearing loss. So far, he is very pleased with them, and they are far more affordable than others I've tried.

They are wonderful, especially for the money. The only thing that I wish is that they had Bluetooth and I can contact them to my phone. I wish the earpiece was a little bit smaller too besides that they do a phenomenal job.

UPDATE: These hearing amplifiers only lasted a year, and I paid SIXTY DOLLARS for them on Amazon.You can get them for $18 on Temu.Let me first say that these are HEARING AMPLIFIERS. They are not hearing aids.They have some noise cancelation, but it is not the best. Their volume is incredibly good. They amplify everything, and it can be a little disorientating for my father.My fathers hearing was getting so bad that we literally had to shout in his face for him to hear us. He was getting upset, and depressed, that he couldn't hear. The television was always blaringly loud on 50 - 80 volume, and he still couldn't make out normal conversation.Sadly, we are a low income family with Free Healthcare from Affordable Healthcare Act. They do not cover hearing aids, so we would have had to pay over $3000 for a pair of them for my father.Knowing this, I purchased this amplifiers due to how good their reviews were, and I was not disappointed. Now my father can hear us speaking to him in a normal voice, he can talk on the phone, listen to the tv at low volume, and even hear us talking in another room.However, they AMPLIFY EVERYTHING. Every little sound, plates hitting the table, the dog barking, crumpling up paper, et cetera. So they take some getting used to.He takes them out while washing the dishes, or doing loud things like vacuuming or mowing the lawn.But otherwise, he loves and enjoys them, and I would buy them again if they broke or got lost. Their noise cancelation of background sounds could be better. But that's something that has to advance with technology over time.

UpdateThe seller has reached out to me twice in the past two days trying to address their lack of response to my original message. Because I had lowered the rating because of the lack of communication I feel I need to revise the star rating to 3 stars. Because of the short time the aids worked I can’t justify going higher.When I received these I thought they were perfect. One week later, the 2nd hearing aid died - would not charge or work.Because both ear pieces were totally useless I returned them. I was very disappointed. I tried contacting the seller through Amazon but got no response. I was tempted to ask for replacements but when the seller didn’t respond I didn’t want to risk it.I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because I really did love them and enjoyed them for 2-3 weeks. Hopefully this pair was just an oddity.

For severe hearing loss, these hearing aids work well. I haven't got them reproducing music well yet, but I am still working on it. I am having some kind on reflection on a nearby walls in small rooms a that slightly scramblethe notes; maybe caused by a leaky ear plug seal. Volume control could work be easier to adjust.These hearing aids work best of four brands I have tried. Compensating for severe hearing loss is a bigger deal than mild loss. Larry Dunbar, PhD

TLDR: Do not recommend buy something else... One unit failed after about 3 months the battery no longer holds a charge, (I didn't mind to much as I only needed one for the ear that has hearing loss) after about 6 months the other ones volume knob is coming detached and causing volume issues. don't recommend as they seem "Cheaply made" however, when they did work the sound was good about 3 out of 5 the fit was rough as my ears needed to get used to them, but every device will do that. The high volume cut was nice but sometimes failed and amplified the sound hurting my ear... its been almost one year... that works out to $60 bucks a year for hearing... Not a DLC I wanted to pay for but alas its... necessary...
