I could have used my am4 connection it was working fine while this was ordered. This 4 bolt gives a better setup experience. The am4 used a 2 hook and loop and this is am5 with screwposts and 4 points. Much easier to mount. The 2 hook caused it to slide on the paste when your mounting. This was easy to mount and the brackets stay on the pump vs the corsair ones always slid off complicating mounting.This is much easier to mount and I find it more secure design. There are no instructions the post screws can only mount 1 way so you can't really screw it up. Also us a cross tighten method to make sure it is flush. Similar to changing a car tire. The kit does seem expensive for the parts.Don't be afraid to try your am4 mount first. I do recommend these.

Used it on my older AIO from corsair as I preferred the 4 point mount. Installed without issue. Can't say temps were any better as I didn't do any testing. Easier and more secure mounting, highly recommend.

This worked great and is a better mounting option for AMD CPU's on motherboards than the two tabs used by Corsair AIO's. It was easy to install and helps with mounting for my PC.

Well guys I was stupid enough to forget were I stored my bag of the am 5 attachments for my cooler which is the iCUE H100i ELITE CAPELLIX that came in the box.Since I switched from intel to amd…lucky found this one here and shipped right away instead of waiting for days to order it from Corsair so far it’s working fine.
