These earbuds arrived well-packaged and in good condition. Unfortunately, after charging them as recommended, they did not turn on when I opened the case. I decided to try again with the charging case connected to a power source. After a few seconds, they powered on, and I was able to pair them with my device. The sound quality is good (hence the two stars). However, on returning them to the case, they remained connected to the device even with the case lid closed, and it took three minutes for them to automatically power off.The earbuds also do not charge in the case unless it’s connected to a power source, and even then, charging is inconsistent. As I write this, their charge level remains at 20% despite having been in the charging case for hours. Interestingly, the app shows that the case is fully charged, but the earbuds are not. The metal contacts are clean, so there should be no issue with the connection.Overall, this has been a frustrating experience. Due to logistical challenges related to distance, I couldn’t return them and instead opted for a 50% refund from Amazon. Disappointed—Philips is not a company I would expect to be associated with this level of quality control issues.
